Live in Fort. Lauderdale, FL. Been a Die hard Rams Fan since "79" I actually remember watching the super bowl as a young boy in "79". Live and died with them through the "80's" ( that breakup by Ronnie Lott on Willie" Flipper" Anderson still haunts me in the the NFC Championship game) and just died with them through the "90's" until 1999.

Turf Show Times Gordo Agrees!

Hey Guys,

Just thought this was funny since my last post was that we should draft Curry first then Merdith second. Here it was Jeff Gordon thinks we should do!

ballhawk32: Gordo:
Your the Rams GM and your on the clock right now. Who are you making Rams with our first two picks? Obviously, the second round pick depends on a lot of variables, but give me your best prognosis.
Thanks
Ray Jeff Gordon: How about Curry No. 1 and OT Jamon Meredith No. 2. Receiver What in the 2nd? Merdith a reach with the 2nd! just kidding...

Turf Show Times My Case for Curry with our First Pick

I believe we should draft Aaron Curry with our 2 pick in the draft. For many months I have been on the OT bandwagon, but now I'm starting to change my way of thinking towards us getting a tackle with the 2nd pick. We should draft Curry (if available) and then draft a OT in the 2nd round. The reason for this thinking is that the drop off from the top three tackles is less then the drop off from the top three linebackers.  If the Rams draft Curry # 2 and then select a Jamon Merdith in the 2nd, we will still get a very good tackle and have the best player in the draft to help our new attacking style defense. And of note if you look at Jamon Merdith's combine numbers and his "you tube" highlight tape has is very good. But his numbers are actually better then Jason Smith's except for bench press, he had 31, but what should be noticed is that Merdith had the third longest arm length, which if you know any thing about tackles, the draft experts say that if tackles have long arms they normally have trouble with good numbers ( Monroe had 23 and Merdith has longer arms) in the Bench Press. Merdith also played in the SEC and held his own all year.

So Curry in the first and Merdith in the 2nd...
