Looks like he is staying for at least another year. Didn't see any update on this so I thought I would post it for you. Great news for Mizzou!!!
Hit on Brett Favre should've been flagged
For those that actually care.
Sources: Seattle, Carroll agree on deal
Less than 24 hours after Seattle fired Jim Mora, they have agreed, in principle, to a deal with Pete Carroll
Mangini Would Welcome King James To The Gridiron In Cleveland
Just read an article on ESPN stating that Mangini actually wants Lebron James to come down and try out for Football, if he has the time.

Awesome writeup on the possibilities of an uncapped season.
With the owners having opted out of the current Collective Bargaining Agreement set to expire in 2010, there could be some dramatic changes reshaping the NFL the way we know it. If a new CBA isn’t agreed upon by March of 2010, the NFL’s salary cap will vanish. Fans: Don’t fret; it may not be quite as bad as you imagine. Like most people, I would like to see the two sides get a deal ironed out, but here are a number of changes that will fall into place, preventing the deep pockets of Daniel Snyder and Jerry Jones buying themselves a Championship.

Sunday Night Football Open Thread
GO CHIEFS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man, it feels so awesome to say that after a win, doesn't it? Lets hope we can carry the momentum of our first win this season into next week and beyond. Anyway, on to the purpose of this thread.
Tonight, we get to see the Cutler led Chicago Bears take on the Atlanta Falcons multi-talented offense. I will admit, this will be the first time I have watched the falcons since the trade of GOAT, so ill be very interested in his progress.
Lets keep it fun, lets keep it classy (maybe a couple of gifs and south park videos thrown in =)) and above all, lets enjoy this glorious night of football, on the eve of the Chiefs first win in a LONG TIME.
My take on the LJ in KC situation
By now we are all aware that there is a serious problem with LJ at RB. He has a 2.4 average through 5 games this season. This is leading to numerous 3rd and long situations that the Chiefs are just not good enough on offense to convert. My opinion is that the piss poor play of LJ can be pinned on 3 different attributes.
First of all, why is LJ taking the ball on draw plays? HES A BIG RUNNING BACK!!!!! He NEEDS to be taking the ball on dive plays and gaining a 4.0 average at least. BUT he cant do that. Know why? The Center of our line (Niswanger and Goff) is atrocious, so there is almost no chance of a dive play even working without it getting blown up in the backfield. But in my opinion, LJ should still be able to make the dive play work, but hes lost his enthusiasm to run, and truthfully, so would I.
So what is our solution to this problem? I don't know. Maybe trade LJ or trade for a decent guard or center.Maybe let Charles have some more running plays, at least he can make the draw play work. One things for certain. This is a problem that CANNOT continue for the full 16 game season.
