I am a preacher in North Alabama. I have a wife and a little boy. I became a Colts fan like many others. I am a Tennessee Vols fan. Shortly after Peyton got drafted I started paying more attention to the NFL and the Colts were the most natural team for me to turn to. I loved Peyton and Dungy's character made me embrace the team whole heartedly.
I am an Atlanta Braves fan. However, baseball exists just to get me through the summer.
If I have to watch basketball, I will watch the Spurs. Tim Duncan reminds me a lot of Peyton - completely dominant and a class act.
Go Colts!

Mock Draft 2.1 (two rounds)
After considering comments and more reading and watching some film, I have update my mock. I change maybe about 1/4 of the picks. Let me know what you think.
Mock Draft 2.0 (two rounds)
Wow! This is the first time I have ever tried two rounds and it is extremely difficult! What do you think?
2011 NFL Mock Draft V1
This is my first go at a mock draft this year. It took me a while to wade through all the defensive linemen, but maybe I am close. For full disclosure, I am a Colts fan - it may have affected my mock. Be brutal on the mock, but not too brutal on me.

Mock Draft (Needs edition)
Before I post my mock for the contest, I wanted to play around a little and see what the draft would look like if we threw the BPA out the window. Expect reaches in this mock. I will have the teams picking their biggest needs (i.e. the two or three most glaring holes). I will list position first, followed by the player. Like I said, this is not what I think will happen, this is just for fun.
1. Rams - QB - Jimmy Clausen - Between Clausen and Bradford, Clausen in more ready for the NFL. Plus, Bradford just seems as if he is an injury waiting to happen.
2. Lions - LT - Russell Okung - sure their D stinks, but this may be the biggest hole on the whole team!
3. Bucs - S - Eric Berry - I actually wish they would make this pick for real. I know everyone says it is too early for a S, but think about the impact Ed Reed, Troy Polamalu, Darron Sharper (last year), and Bob Sanders (when he can play) have on games!
4. Redskins - LT - Bryan Bulaga - their biggest need is actually to get rid of Haynesworth's rediculous contract.
5. Chiefs - S - Earl Thomas - this team has so many holes, but Thomas might be the least stretch...
6. Seahawks - RB - CJ Spiller - oh for the days of Shaun Alexander!
7. Browns - QB - Sam Bradford - Can Bradford make this team competitive?
8. Raiders - DT - Kong Suh - Could Al Davis mess up this opportunity?
9. Bills - OT - Trent Williams - Keep one of those QBs on their feet and maybe they could throw the ball
10. Jags - DT - Gerald McCoy - This could help their pass rush
11. Broncos - NT - Dan Williams - with Jamal Williams, they will pass on Dan but they shouldn't
12. Dolphins - NT - Terrance Cody - I said to expect a reach, but the Dolphins really need a NT
13. 49ers - CB - Joe Haden - finally an actual possible pick
14. Seahawks - DE - Derrick Morgan - the Seahawks need a couple more first round picks to fill all of their holes
15. Giants - MLB - Rolando McClain - actual pick?
16. Titans - DE - Everson Griffen - Kindle is an option
17. 49ers - QB - Colt McCoy - Another year of Alex Smith?
18. Steelers - WR - Dez Bryant - Holmes is gone, fill his spot. CB could go here
19. Falcons - LB - Sergio Kindle - could be a really good pick for Atlanta
20. Texans - CB - Kyle Wilson - an actual pick?
21. Bengals - S - Taylor Mays - the Bengals love those USC guys
22. Patriots - OLB - Jason Pierre Paul - Maybe Bill could make sure JPP doesn't bust
23. Packers - CB - Devin McCourty - How old are Harris and Woodson?
24. Eagles - LB - Sean Weatherspoon - they need help on all three levels of D
25. Ravens - CB - Patrick Robinson - same boat as the Eagles
26. Cardinals - TE - Jermaine Gresham - an actual pick?
27. Cowboys - OT - Anthony Davis - Maybe they should go WR here
28. Chargers - RB - Ryan Matthews - so long LT
29. Jets - DLine - Jared Odrick - This is a scary team, Odrick keeps them scary longer
30. Vikings - CB - Kareem Jackson - big time need
31. Colts - LT - Charles Brown - convenient?!?!
32. Saints - OLB - Daryl Washington - could go OLine, S, or DLine
Biggest reach: Terrance Cody and/or Colt McCoy
Biggest drop: Where Iupati?
Biggest surprise: Suh at #8
Team that needs the most first round picks: Chiefs and/or Browns
Hello! Colts fan here and I need some help...
Like many of the SB team sites, we at Stampede Blue are conducting a community mock draft and I selected the Ravens as the team I would like to represent in the draft. Let me say first that your GM is a freakin' genius! Boldin (and a 5th) for a 3rd and 4th? WOW!!! Jerry Jones must be throwing up somewhere!
There are ten picks left until I select for the Ravens and I wanted some good Raven-fan info...
So you have addressed your biggest need with a big aquisition! Boldin will be huge! And you re-signed Mason.
You recently signed Redding, who, I assume, will play at DE. And that does help your DL.
This is what I see as needs (and please comment and correct me where I may be wrong): These are in no particular order.
1. Cornerback - you are covered at safety until Reed hangs it up. But CB has been a problem since McCalister lost a his speed and was released.
2. DLine - Redding, Pryce, and Greg are getting up there. Replacements should be found soon to learn from these guys.
3. LB - Lewis is 85, but still plays like he is 30. He can't play forever. I would imagine this is a depth situation here. Get a couple of guys to back up Lewis and Suggs!
4. OLine - With Gaither (who I wish Polian would have gone after), Oher and company you seem set.
5. QB - DUH!
6. RB - DUH!
7. WR - Depth would not hurt
8. TE - I like Heap, but he never seemed to break into the next level (too many injuries?)
So I am thinking this draft should go after CB, DL, and TE.
With the first pick I am thinking about Kyle Wilson, Devin McCourty, Jermain Gresham, or Carlos Dunlap.
With the second pick (obviously depending on the first) I am thinking Aaron Hernandez, Kareem Jackson, Parrish Cox, Geno Atkins, or Cam Thomas.
I am including a poll for those who don't care to comment. Thanks again. And Congrats on a great off-season!
Texas defensive coordinator Will Muschamp and TCU coach Gary Patterson have both said they have not been contacted by Tennessee.

Nats Interested in Schafer
Could there be a chance that we trade Schafer and FYF for Dunn?
