Time to revisit: Lampard's Interview Last Dec

Frank Lampard: One-on-One You have won it all, so what is there left to achieve at Chelsea? I really want to win the league again, it has been a few years since we have done it. I love that feeling of being a consistent club, like in the Mourinho days when he was here first when we won virtually week in and week out, and also in the back end of our run to win the double under Ancelotti. What would you like to do after your playing career? I would like to do my badges, which I will do after my England career finishes whenever that is. I am looking to become a manager.

Gary Cahill - Ultimate Defender

A short video tribute to Cahill's awesomeness!!

Dealing with Didier - Dan Levene

A good article from someone who has followed Chelsea - and Didier closely over the years on what drives him. Must read!!

Uh-oh!!! Someone needs to tell Kalas he is in Premier League now!!

I don't enjoy playing against physical strikers. For me, playing against somebody who is big and powerful is more difficult than playing against a smaller, quick opponent. For example, at Chelsea I don't look forward to playing against Demba Ba in training. ...... Not Good!!!

Jose and Emenalo: Dan Levene on the shift in balance of power at the Bridge

Mourinho accepted Emenalo when he took back the Chelsea job, because he knew he needed him. He knew Abramovich would not shift total control overnight from the man who has been forging his mini-Barca over the last three years of turmoil. And he also knew that nothing is set in stone at Chelsea: that control is about influence; and that all personnel are only as permanent as their last fireside chat with the Big Boss. Six months on Mourinho and Emenalo left Eastlands together, almost hand in hand, for a completely different reason. Because, in the interim, the powerbase has shifted. Now at Chelsea, it is Emenalo who needs Mourinho. And that is the real ‘transition’ Mourinho has brought about at Stamford Bridge.

Ballon d'Or: the full vote breakdown of Ronaldo, Messi and all the nominees

pretty interesting article pointing out how biased the Ballon d'Or could be.

Nigeria: Chelsea Jet Flies in Mikel

Nigeria midfielder Mikel Obi will be specially flown in and out of Lagos by the jet of his EPL club Chelsea for the CAF Awards on Thursday. Mikel has been nominated for the prestigious African Footballer of the Year award 2013 alongside Yaya Toure(Manchester City and Cote d'Ivoire) and Didier Drogba (Galatasaray and Cote d'Ivoire). He revealed yesterday that he plans to fly in and out of Lagos for the awards ceremony by his club's jet today. "I am coming for the CAF awards, I will be flown in and out of Nigeria by the Chelsea jet. I will arrive on the awards day and return immediately after," Mikel confirmed the trip yesterday. Nice!!

A nice Piazon goal with Traore assist!

Bertrand Traore wasted no time in introducing himself to Vitesse fans, providing a sublime assist 35 minutes into his debut for fellow loanee Lucas Piazon. Vitesse would build a 3-0 lead before hanging on to the 3-2 vicotry over Vfl Wolfsburg in a mid-season friendly.

What has Anelka done now!!

I semi liked Anelka and of course once a blue, always a blue but this seems like a bad gesture on his part even if anti-semetism was not intended!

Cole hopes to see Shaw replace him in Chelsea side

Daily Fail but this one is true! Ashley Cole ‏@TheRealAC3 "@LewisTinsley: @TheRealAC3 how does it feel that Chelsea want to buy Luke Shaw to play over you?

Newcastle's new (& crazy) media plan

Might be interesting as this may drastically change how PL teams interact with media.

Amazing Magazine Feature on Juan Mata that you just have to read!!!

It includes interview not only by Mata where he tells us about his life, what it means to play for the Spanish Team and Chelsea but his sister Paula, his Grand Pa, his friends such as Pedro Mosquera and Negrado as well. Kenneth Omeruo is one to watch!

Henry Winter sat down to chat with Chelsea's Kenneth Omeruo recently, and shared some of the things he had to say in The Telegraph.

Nice Kalou interview - speaks about Chelsea and his time here

People thought I never played, or only had a little role, but over six years I played in all the big games," said the Ivorian. "I was there whenever the team needed me, against Barcelona in the semis, United and Bayern in the finals, and was one of those they leaned on. I was more like a foot soldier, and people don't recognise the foot soldiers so much. In hindsight, when people talk about that team and the trophies we won, they remember the important goals I scored and appreciate me more. Now, when I see Chelsea fans, they say: 'You helped us win the Champions League. You were one of those in Munich who made history.'"

RDM, Ramires and 4-3-3

After watching yesterdays match I was pretty pissed with our coaching team for the team selection and the substitutions. I cannot fathom the reasons for selecting such a defensive team for a team...
