One of my friends moved to Columbus last year for work, although they are NFL fans they adopted the o$U as their college team.

From her facebook page...how cute. I hope he doesn't break a nail against PSU.

Emily - just found out that Terrell Pryor gets his nails done at the same place I do and the only week he missed was the Purdue week. Don't worry Buckeye fans...he was in earlier today!

Well...lets get this out of the way now there is no chance for MNC.

We all know that JoePa wanted to hold on for one last national championship, although recent recruiting classes have been strong I don't think anyone beleives Newsome is taking us to the promise land next year.

Therefore, how much longer does Joe stay? Even when he is retired I am sure he will not be "gone" until he passes, so that leave us with the eternal question...who is going to be the next coach of the Lions?

I have several really good ideas for IPhone / Andriod apps but will need a skilled professional.

I will pay for the initial start up charges. I don't have the skills and more importantly time to perform this task myself, if anyone is interested send an email to this address.

Favorite players of 80s, 90s, 2000s

Everyone seemed to like the most loved/hated player list, thought this could be interesting.

List you top 3 players of the decade, I am 31 so I only really recall 80s/90s/2000s. If anyone wants to go back further feel free, I know guys like Ham, Lydell, etc built this program but never saw them play.

Here is my list.

80s - Blair Thomas, DJ, Conlan (Pete the Greek close 4th)

90s - Kerry Collins, Aaron Harris, LaVar (Dan Drogan close 4th)

2000s - Zug, Mills, Poz (MRob close 4th)

Most loved / hated PSU players of all time?

I have been thinking about this for a long time, what makes people love/hate current or former players.

Here is my list of most loved/hated player that wore the blue/white.

Loved:

-- Lavar, nuff said

-- #25, Mr. Harris

-- Kerry Collins, my old Irish mother still talks about KC and she know nothing about football.

-- #31, both versions.

-- Mills

-- John Bruno

Hate is a strong word, lets go w/ "dislike" or "disappointing" of all time.

-- QB 14, so much potential wasted.

-- Austin Scoot, see above.

-- LJ JR, recent issues not helping and was a crybaby at PSU.

-- Gino Capone, always seemed to fall on top of the pile. He was the early version of the tOSU middle LB.

-- Rashard Casey, lead us into the "dark years".

-- Iowa and Curley.

Anyone going to be in State College for Arts Fest 09?

I am heading up with the little lady and Mr. / Mrs. TS will also be in town.

We are going to be staying in town to avoid the DUI charges, I will have on my I club hippies shirt or some form of Zug wear.

See ya at the cafe! TS will be at Chumly's holding court, because that is how he rolls. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

As many of you know RUTS is my brother, so I wanted to provide an update from St. Lucia.

He landed safely and is currently drinking and eating everything in sight, in fact he is going on a zip cord tour in the rain forest. God I hope the zip cord is strongly reinforced but then again if he dies I think I still get his insurance policy, I know he is too lazy to have already switched the names.

He actually needs some help from the BSD readers. RUTS is still a virgin and even though married for a few days he still didn't "close the deal".

Therefore, if anyone has any words of advice or can provide a pep talk the Mrs would be pleased...just trying to help a brother out.

Hey SC fans.

PSU guy here.

Just wanted to let you guys know how impressed I was with SC, your WR's really exposed our SLOW safeties and LB's.

The biggest problem with PSU is not having top flight players, it's getting Joe Pa to put them on the field. Although I love being loyal to guys who put in their time, it hurts the team. It's very rare to see a Freshman/Soph on the field at PSU unless there is an injury. For example, PSU plays Hull and Sales at LB...those guys are solid but PSU is stacked at LB and our young/fast/best players have to sit 2-3 years.

At SC, if you are the best...you play! Makes sense to me.

Anyway - Sorry for the rant but this game really opened my eyes, if PSU want to really get "back" (pre 2000) they need to follow the SC mold and get away from the bend but don't break D.

Also - Thanks to all the great SC fans, although I didn't go been hearing mostly good reports. Granted, there are jerk-offs everywhere but most of the PSU fans had a blast. I am in the OC all the time, love it out there...keep up the good work out there. You guys should be playing Oklahoma...SEC is over rated...just ask Utah!

WR's 09?

After reading the fan post about 09 DB's, I wanted to get everyones input on WR's for 09.

We already know Lord Zug will be there but who else?

Moye, Powell, ?????? I really have no clue on who else is in the pipeline, replacing our Big 3 will be tough but we should get bigger and more Zug is always good.

We should be set at TE with 2 solid guys and AQ has the most potential but hasn't delivered so far in his career.

Thoughts?
