Music City Miracles What "IT" is

Haters always discount what VY fans say is his greatest attribute: he's got IT.  But what does that mean?  It means he fills his teammates with confidence and crushes the spirit of his opponents.  It doesn't show up (directly) in the stats, but it's in the huddle, on the sidelines, and in the player's heads as they go to sleep every night.  Don't believe me?

Music City Miracles My Darling 'Dinger

I was wrong, my darling 'Dinger.  Wrong about you, wrong about your talents, wrong about everything.  Please find it in your heart to forgive me.

I foolishly wrote to MCM fans that I doubted your ability to properly scheme with the talents of VY and CJ.

From the opening play (even though it didn't work), I knew you had either listened or were smart enough on your own.  With each successive screen, bomb or misdirection I grew more and more conVINCEd that you got it.

Even though the play calling was not quite perfect, the results spoke for themselves.  Your offense was charging up and down the field with low-risk passes and wide open running lanes.  The D became tired and hesitant.  The opposing offense grew desperate trying to keep up.  The result was an impressive W.

There were enough new plays there to give our future opponents much more homework...and enough wrinkles to add to those plays to sustain our streak for weeks to come.

Keep it up, my darling 'Dinger.  You won the game and you won my heart.

Your newest #1 Fan,

T the D

Music City Miracles 'Dinger Don't Fail Me Now

Sunday's play calling was encouraging.  Dinger showed he's capable of thinking outside the box to put VY and these new Titans in a place succeed.  However...

Music City Miracles Introducing the Titans New Head Coach

Kevin Sumlin...seriously.

If anybody has watched his team play, they are disciplined, passionate and team oriented.  They always show up in big games and he would know how to work with our young talent.

Bring on some experienced assistants or some type of mentor for the in's and out's of the NFL.

This guy is going to be a big coach somewhere in the future.  Why not us?  Why not this year?

Dump all our old guys, stock the team with young, hungry players and watch the team come to life.

Don't hate...keep an open mind...we need BIG changes.

That's my take, you got anyone better????

Music City Miracles Why VY Sux

It's not about changing the entire playbook, it's simply about playing to your strengths.  Dinger just doesn't get it.

Music City Miracles A Glimpse at the Truth

Hey Titans Fans-

I don't post here too often, as most things are beaten to death on this board.  Yet here I am about to dig up the deadest dead horse there is, along with some other salient points.

Music City Miracles Bringing it Back: Quan Cosby

Why haven't I heard his name on these boards in months?

I say we either we get a true gamebreaker in the 1st (Harvin will be the only one available at our pick) or we WAIT and get a sure thing for cheap in the 3rd.  Cosby is a SURE thing.   He's a mature, responsible, team player.  He NEVER drops a pass, creates great separation on shorter routes, and can make yards after the catch.  Plus he's much thicker and more durable than a guy like Pat White.

He'll be there in the third.  He'd be a good influence in the locker room.  He can pick up third and medium from the slot all day and catch screens and block as good as anybody in the draft.

I promise you he's gonna make some franchise look very smart.  It would be nice if we were at least thinking about him.

Music City Miracles Percy Harvin??

I know the chances of us drafting a WR #1 are slim to none.  However, nobody thought we'd take a RB #1 last year, and I was on the CJ train since last January.

With Maclin, Crabtree, etc. coming out this year, I think Harvin will still be available by our pick.  From what I've seen of Harvin, he looks to be hard working, passionate, and a team player.  Of course he has blazing speed and great vision.

We have a reluctance to pass deep often, which is why I think Percy may be a great fit to use screens and quick passes to keep the D from focusing on CJ.  If we have CJ, keep Bo, utilize Gage, and throw in Percy for some quick, short stuff and hope for some YAC our plain little offense could be pretty effective.

Otherwise, go LB, DE or CB and pick up Quan Cosby in round three (if he's still there).  Quan is a poor man's Hines Ward, and a great team player that will never get in trouble, give it less than 110%, gets great separation on the short stuff, catches absolutely everything and can run over defenders.

We need to take an honest look at our offense.  We NEED one more player that can get us a consistent 5-10 yards for those third down plays to move the chains.
