Terrence Williams waived by Rockets.
I think it would be perfect to buy Diaw out and then claim T-Will off of waivers
Beasley to Charlotte?
MINNESOTA TIMBERWOLVES — Michael Beasley is generating a ton of interest. Hoopsworld has mentioned a potential deal with Houston, and RealGM has one with Orlando, with the exchange with the Magic being Jason Richardson. Or he could go to Charlotte for Diaw. "I’m just pawn in this game," Beasley said. "If I gotta go, it’s just business."
We got Melvin Ely
"Charlotte Bobcats player-personnel chief Rod Higgins just confirmed to the Observer that ex-Bobcat Melvin Ely will be signed this afternoon, assuming he passes his physical."
Selling memorabilia. Need it gone ASAP
I am selling two nice pieces of bobcats memorabilia. I am selling a 2006 team signed basketball. The ball itself is an authentic NBA ball. It includes Larry Browns signature. I am also selling a D.J Augustin authentic NBA jersey signed. I am selling the ball for $200 and the jersey for 300. I can package them both for $450 but I need them gone by thanksgiving day in order to make a car payment. If you guys, or anyone you know may be interested please let me know. My cell # is704-604-5752. These would make great gifts for the Holidays.

Out on a limb draft predictions
In every draft, there is always an unexpected rise or fall by a player. In recent memory, Marcus Thornton and Dejuan Blair, expected lottery picks, slipped into the second round. Russell Westbrook, originally thought to be a mid first rounder, went in the top 5.
This list is comprised of "out on a limb" predictions.
1.) Kawhi Leonard will drop out of the Lottery.
2.)Tobias Harris will be a lottery pick.
3.) Donatas Motiejunas is the first foreign player drafted.
4.) Klay Thompson, with his improved stock, is drafted by the Bobcats.
5.) There will be at least two major trades involving veterans, Monta Ellis and Stephen Jackson will make their departure.
6.) Nikola Vucevic will slip into the Lottery.
7.) Cleveland will have 3 top 10 picks.
8.) Jonas Valanciunas will be the last of the major european prospects taken.
9.) Tyler Honeycutt will slip into the late Lottery
And the final prediction:
10.) The Bobcats will get Lebron James
Just kidding on that one. But the last prediction really is....
We will have 3 first round picks and two second rounders.
5 on the rise
Klay Thompson (Washington State, Jr.) – 6'7, 205 lbs. Shooting Guard/Small Forward
Specialists have a place in every single draft, usually somewhere outside the lottery and in the second round. Throughout Klay Thompson's time at Washington State he was always regarded as one of the most lethal three-point shooters in the country with his overall skill set going underappreciated. That's why he was originally projected as a fringe first-round pick.
After measuring in bigger than expected at the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago Thompson's versatility is finally getting the recognition it deserves. He could potentially play both wing spots in the NBA, which has his stock moving up towards the top 15.
Several teams in the 11-18 range have expressed strong interest in Thompson, who has also been performing quite well in individual workouts. Don't expect him to go any lower than 19 to

Isn't this great!!!
Kinda funny how the person that the Bobcats wouldnt pass on is now injured and is unable to work out for us!!! And then Brooks as a messed up ankle, funny that he had to miss the Bobcats workout huh.
Combine Measurements
(Ed. - from the FanPosts)
It looks like some of the players I haveliked have turned out to have good measurements. Klay Thompson could be our future at small forward, Keith Benson looked pretty good, but take a look, we have several options.
Below are the official measurements from the combine
I am selling some rare Air Max 95's
The color scheme is rare. They are white with a shade of blue darker than carolina blue, but not much, and black. If you are interested, call or text 704-604-5752 anytime after 2:30 pm
Damned or Blessed
This season has been one with many surprises, both good and bad. Some were seen coming, but not to the extent in which they happened. A couple of people that I have seen on this website are ready for us to be contracted. Do I blame them? No, I don't. This city has always been a fickle city, so I expect nothing else. To those people, I ask this simple question, are we damned, or are we actually blessed?
Lakers want to make moves, do they?
I think this helps both teams
Off Topic: I am selling some Memorabilia
I am selling some of my Collection of Memorabilia and was going to see if anyone on here was interested.
I have 5 items that I am looking to sell....
Signed D.J Augustin game worn shoes- $140
Kevin Durant signed NBA basketball-$100
Antwan Jamison signed NBA basketball- $80
Steve Smith signed 8x10- $40
Deangelo Williams signed 8x10- $50
If anyone is interested please let me know as soon as possible...I am really looking to sell some of these this weekend
My Proposal
With the news that Tyrus Thomas will be out for basically the remainder of the regular season, it really got me thinking. With a draft class that really suits what we need, and the constant improvement of other Eastern Conference teams, why dont we blow this team up now, but maintain a repectable team. I have a couple of reasonable trades, whether or not the teams agree to them is another story. But I think it fits what all parties are looking to do.
(All below trades approved by Trade Machine)
Trade Scenario # 1
Bobcats receive: Wilson Chandler, Eddy Curry, Anthony Randolph, Ronny Turiaf
Nuggets Receive- Stephen Jackson, Derrick Brown, Nazr Mohammed, Danillo Gallinari, 2 Knicks first rounders
New York Receives- Boris Diaw and Carmelo Anthony
Charlotte gets some young promising players and shed some future cap space with the expiring contracts of Turiaf and Eddy Curry. With Thomas out, we get a shot blocker in Turiaf who can defend off the bench, similar to Thomas
The Nuggets get a mix of potential and proven, as far as players go. They also get an expiring contract and draft picks
The Knicks get the prize, a.k.a Carmelo Anthony, and a reunion of Dantoni and Diaw
Trade Scenario #2 ( All trades are seperate by the way, there is no combination of trades, all seperate ideas)
Bobcats Receive- Derrick Favors, Brandon Bass, Anthony Morrow
Magic Receive- Troy Murphy
Nets Receive- Gerald Wallace, Derrick Brown, J.J Reddick, Quentin Richardson, Bobcats future pick
Same story here for the Bobcats. We get two nice, young pieces in Morrow and Favors. Bass is a good post player that can definately help fill the void left by Tyrus' inury.
The Magic do this because they....1.) Shed future cap, which can be used to help resign Dwight Howard and 2.) Get another double-double machine to go either beside or behind Dwight.
New Jersey does this because they have to basically. Favors has had his confidence shattered. I mean he was the number three pick, and thought he was going to a team that wanted him. Ever since his name was called in the Draft, his name was mentioned in trade talks. The Nets also went to the plate and left the bat with Carmelo. They had the fan base ready to go, but then ended talks. So know they go for the next best thing in Wallace and a draft pick.
The perfect trade......I think
Starting Lineup-
Augustin, Jackson, Wallace, Thomas, Dalembert
Bench-
Livingston, Henderson, Brown, Thompson, Kwame
I think this is orgasmic(lol)
Bulls and Bobcats discussing 8 player trade?
Take this with a grain of salt because I dont see this on a major site, but this is quite interesting.
In Memoriam of Larry Brown
Eight years ago, the Bobcats were just a rumor. Seven years ago, the rumor came true. The Bobcats were created. Our first coach, Bernie Bickerstaff. Bickerstaff had the tough task of making this franchise a staple in the city of Charlotte, and a respectable team in the National Basketball Association. After a couple of years, Bickerstaff was fired, and in steps the inexperienced Sam Vincent. Vincent's short run here in Charlotte was marked by frustration, controversy, and fury. He did not know how to coach, and players realized that. He was constantly questioned in the media, and in the locker room. After the firing of Vincent, the Bobcats rejuvenated the fan base in Charlotte with the news of the hiring of Larry Brown, a Hall of Fame coach, and the best coach the city has ever seen. Brown was handed the task of getting down to business, and that was just what he did. He brought his mind set of defense and pride, as well as hard work and grittiness.

This is the best trade idea EVER
Trade winds and Bounties
As we sit here with losses mounting on top of more losses, we wonder what may be in store for our beloved team. Years of waiting for success have taught patience. Years of mediocrity have taught us to keep faith. And one year in the playoffs has taken all of that away and spoiled us. There is nothing I would want more than to hear Carmelo Anthony's name called during player introductions. I have similar feelings towards having a new face patrolling the sidelines. I have supported this team through the hard times, and have taken verbal licks over the years for my unmatched support. I have grown tired of living in the cellar. I would like to be able to be proud walking into the Cable Box, knowing that there is going to be a battle to watch. I would like to pose a decent arguement to those who doubt us.
Losing has made us question our coach, and has made us question our only original Bobcat, Gerald Wallace.
I understand and support the questioning of these two individuals, as they have done nothing this year to make me think differently. Wallace has seemed to play lathargically, and Brown has contradicted his previous beliefs. He has said that he does not have the emotion he once had, and has said that he can not get the players to respond to his teachings.
So the question I pose is.......
What is next for us?
Do we fire a Hall of Fame coach?
Do we start Tyrus Thomas?
Do we send out Wallace and Diaw and bring in Carmelo?
Do we sit back and wait?
What can we do to turn this train around? I can not think of one single thing that can turn this around.
What can you guys come up with?
I would prefer not to see this......

or this.....

Holiday wish list
Remember the days when you would get so excited about the Holiday season rolling around? I sure do. I remember making my Christmas list 2 months early, and then "rearrange" things on the list to update to the newest and hottest items. Don't you guys miss those days? Staying up until the early morning in anticipation of what may be downstairs in the living room awaiting you. And then finally you awake in the morning, go downstairs and do the infamous gasp when you see your new G.I Joes, or other coveted Christmas items for young boys. Man, I cant say it enough, I miss those days more than anything in the world.
I made this post for those of you, who like me, may be looking for your inner young boy. And most importantly, I made this list for our beloved Bobcats to read, and hopefully to make our wishes, a reality.

Jason Thompson To The Bobcats?
It’s surprising that at this point in his career, JT is involved in any trade talks. And you would also think that he would be one of the Kings’ untouchables, especially in relation to the Bobcats’ stiffs. JT made our list of 5 Sophomore You Need To Watch last year for a reason: at 6-11 and 250 pounds, he has a strong mid-range game, runs the fast break well, can finish in traffic, and is a beast of a rebounder. All of those traits also complement his knack for throwing it down on anyone in his path.
The Sacramento Bee’s Ailene Voisin describes JT like he is Kwame Brown: “He commits too many fouls. He drops too many passes. He bobbles too many rebounds. He muscles inside against double-teams, launches jumpers out of his range, becomes so discombobulated that he forgets about defending his man. And then he gets benched, furthering his frustration, and depleting the Kings already-thin frontcourt.”
I have a lineup suggestion
I personally think that Diaw is a waste of space (and money). I also think that Nazr hurts this team. And to top it all off, we have too many athletic players to play at a slow pace. I was pondering the thought of a new lineup, which I doubt will ever happen. But I think that I am going to be a homer, but I am just going to put this out there
my thoughts on a melo trade
today it was reported that the nuggets are listening to offers for melo. i know there have been some mixed feelings on this blog, and reasonably so. it would likely take our franchise player, the heart of the team, and only original bobcat. but here is where i stand. the age difference i believe is 3 years between wallace and carmelo. there is no question who has the most potential. there is no question who works harder. but would we lose that much??? i understand wallace is the superior defender. but this is larry browns chance to redo the draft of 2003. he has the chance now to bring in melo. melo will give us the offensive force that we need. i think we will be fine if we end up with melo. defense is not a one person thing, it is a team effort. if we can get melo to buy into this, it could mean trouble for the other teams in the east. if lb can light a fire into melo, and tell him that he could make him a top player in history, if melo would just listen, we could be surprised.... here is the offer i would suggest, and obviously you would have to add draft picks because the trade machine doesnt have draft picks...here it is
dynasty league for basketball
i created a dynasty league for fantasy basketball and knew some of you wanted to join the other draft but wither it was full or you had other obligations. so this is just a "for fun" thing, nothing too serious....the draft is at 5 tomorow evening.
http://games.espn.go.com/fba/clubhouse?leagueId=34867&teamId=1&seasonId=2011
that is the link to the league, and if you have questions feel free to ask...i will be joining a cbs pay league probably next month for a chance at 300 bucks if anyone is interested in joining me, i believe that is $29.....just let me know if you signed up for the espn draft at 5 tomorow....thanks guys...btw ourday, this would be a good practice lol.....
Fantasy Basketball
Hello everybody, I have a question. I created a Rufus on Fire exclusive fantasy basketball league in ESPN. It is private and the password is rufus. There are only 10 teams available and the draft is tomorow night at 7:30. The name of the league is Rufus on Fire. Please join it and respond on here to let me know how many people joined. I thought this would be a fun experience and it could help us all create a stronger bond with one another. I thought it would be cool if all of our team names were Bobcats related. Look forward to hearing from those of you that are interested
everybody but mike read about billups, does not mean we are definately getting him
Could Billups be traded, too?
9:38AM ET Chauncey Billups | Nuggets
UPDATE: We checked in with ESPN The Magazine's Ric Bucher about some potential landing spots for Billups if Denver also decides to trade him.
We've attached that commentary to the bottom of this update.
---
Carmelo Anthony wants out. The Nuggets want J.R. Smith out. And Kenyon Martin, entering the final year of his lucrative contract, is out while he recovers from knee surgery. In addition, Chris Andersen is expected to miss the beginning of the regular season, too, after offseason surgery.
ESPN.com's John Hollinger made a good point Thursday via his Twitter page regarding Chauncey Billups' future with the Nuggets.
Hollinger tweeted: "Remember, if the Nuggets trade Melo and rebuild, there's really no point in them keeping Billups either. Could be two All-Stars on market."
Billups is from Denver and welcomed the opportunity to play in front of family and friends, but he may seek a trade to a playoff contender, or the team may see what the can get for the veteran point guard since they are in a rebuilding-mode.
Billups, who will turn 34 on Sept. 25, has two years remaining on his contract. He'll make $13.15 million for 2010-11 and $14.2 million for 2011-12, but only $3.7 million of that is guaranteed.
Any teams needing a point guard and who think they can challenge for the NBA title this season should contact the Nuggets.
Billups' leadership could help a number of teams
"Charlotte is in desperate need of a starting point guard and could offer cap relief, a seemingly attractive thing if Denver is starting over. If Golden State is looking to change its lackadaisical culture, Billups could help there, too. The Kings, Nets, Clippers and Grizzlies are relatively young teams that could benefit from his presence, too. But if Billups' dream scenario of riding into the sunset chasing another ring in his hometown has gone poof, the least he'd want is the chance to still chase a ring elsewhere. Teams that would keep the dream alive and have assets to send back are the Rockets, Magic and Hawks."
billups
well this is the news i was told to listen for. this is not speculation, or a "what if" thing, but this is definately a good sign for us. it is a perfect fit, and as of september, this is more than a slight chance of happening. stay tuned

just some things i have been thinking about trade wise
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=269z76a
love that one, i think udrih is a solid point guard and thompson is a favorite of mine, it gives the kings even more financial flexibility, and saves us money
had some good ideas
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2bywovl
not sure if the thunder would bite, but really love this idea, i like maynor and i like collisons gritty nature, thabo is quite the defender himself
http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2df39jt
i have heard that they want to move horford to the 4, which puts them in a need for a center, they missed out on shaq, so dampier is a decent backup plan. and one with a huge expiring contract that they could use to land a bigger player, or use the money they wii get to sign a big player in next years free agency
3 part trade- 1st- http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=232oskb,http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=28t29nh , http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=2adp8am
Bring Us Terrence Williams
Terrence Williams I have heard is available. Unlike many people I truly believe, he can play the point very efficiently. Avery Johnson has said that Williams is going to possibly start at the 2 and back up the 1 (Devin Harris). I know it was summer league, but the nets ran T-Will at the 1, because Williams has insisted since being drafted that he is a Point Guard. I have had the luxury of attending and watching many of his games, and he is the Gerald Wallace version of a point guard. Williams gets after it on defense, and he is a very good offensive minded player that loves to do everything on the basketball court, he likes to find open teamates, he loves to attack the rim, he loves to annoy the piss out of his defensive assignment, and take advantage of his opponents flaws. He would be a great addition to this team as a point guard or any other way lb could utilize him. I was a huge fan of his at Louisville, and was praying that we would have the luxury of drating him, but i guess this could be a second chance, a chance that i hope we will take
New Kid On The Block
Wassup, i signed up yesterday to be able to come on here and hang aroumd with fellow bobcat fans, just wanted to introduce myself. i have seen and heard so many rumors over the last week, and had nobody else to talk about them with, nobody else i know is a cats fan, so now i have somewhere to discuss whats going on. glad to be a part of this and look forward to speaking with you guys
