Mile High Report The Difference Between B-Dawk and B-Marsh

As I was catching up today on all of the Broncos videos that I had missed over the weekend something really jumped out at me from the Dawkins and Marshall interviews.  When Marshall was asked how frustrated he was at not being able to be out there with his teammates due to his injury he replied "Not frustrating at all, it's camp (laughs) it's ok".

Dawkins was asked a similar question about not being able to play on Friday against the 49'ers and he said "(it was) brutal.  Not being out there with the guys and knowing they were traveling to go out there and go to war and I wasn't able to go out with them, it was real tough for me.  I understand it was preseason but at the same time I would like to be out there with them so it was real tough."

Brian Dawkins is not going to the HOF just because he has tremendous natural ability.  There have probably been thousands of players throughout the years that had as much athletic ability as him that have not had HOF worthy careers.  Dawkins will go to the HOF because he loves the game and knows how much work it takes to be great.  With Marshall, it seems he plays football because he can and sees it as an easy way to make a lot of money and all he wants to do is show up on Sunday, put up good numbers and get his payday.

Anyway, I just hope someday Marshall starts to care more about winning than he does about money and learns that it is these practices and workouts with his teammates that will make him a better player and after that the money will take care of itself.

Mile High Report Vic Carucci's Top 5 Rookie Impact Players

Vic lists the top 5 rookies he thinks will have the biggest impact this season., and guess who has 2 of the top 5.  It amazes me that experts can love the players we picked and give our draft a D at the same time.

Anyway, lolcopter should be credited with this find as he threw it up in a fanshot a little while ago, but I find that those get lost in obscurity a bit and thought that people would want to see this.

Link may not work because I don't know what I'm doing :)

Not sure how many of you guys ever read this guy, but if you like sports and pop culture he can be pretty funny. Anyway, I think of this article every time someone's something like "my 2nd favourite team".
