Where is Beergut???
It's already Monday night, 3 days before kick-off and I thought he would be all over BON? I guess when little brother blows, you really ain't got much to work with. I was hoping he would bring the last two years over at least for a little fun...
Anyways....To take up space, tomorrow we got ND, should be a good one. They looked pretty quick tonight, but we are quicker, our D is pretty stellar this year.
Basketball Tomorrow 6pm (cental)
As of now it looks like Notre Dame (67-42 as I type). Should be a good one, first real test of the season. I like our depth, our bench is strong. Haven't seen much of Notre Dame until tonight, they look pretty stellar.

On ESPN 2..
Not related to the Schlabach's article this morning, or whenever he posted it, but three talking heads(Mike Gottfried) on ESPN 2 are all campaigning for us. Just wrapped up the win against St. Joe, went as expected, younger guys getting some time, Wangmene played well. The old guy talking, not sure of his name, is pissed that Texas isn't #2 in all polls.

Ike on a Texas path...
With gameday only 5 days out, Ike sits over the middle of Cuba plotting his next move. Well the National Hurricane Center has taken the liberty to plot out his path for him and points the Cat 3 right toward Houston and 351 miles from DKR at 1am Saturday morning. As we all know, these things can shift on a dime (like Fozzy did in El Paso), so I'm still going to be optimistic for the time being. Might be a good idea to start checking http://www.stormpulse.com/ come Wednesday, because they (guys at the hurricane center) are pretty spot on for the 3 day outlook.
With 13 days and 21 hours...
I can hardly contain myself. It's hard to believe it's almost been a year since the kickoff against Ark St. but low and behold, it's here. Two weeks from today we can throw on our game day shirts (respectively bought from the Co-Op) and slide down that beverage of choice into the burnt orange koozy for another exciting semester of UT football. What will this season bring? From all the posts here on the BON it's going to be great to see how it unfolds and how the predictions of certain positions and frosh players develop. I'm excited as I know everyone else here is, so Hook'em and let's do this thang!
