Posting and Toasting Sunshine Extravaganza

Sorry I wasn't able to get this up sooner. Fall semester ended Wednesday and I've been drunk most of the time since then.

Anywho the Knicks have been playing some outstanding basketball as of late. 7-3 in their last ten and 1 1/2 out of the 8th seed.

Sunshines vs. the Clippaz

1. David Lee (25/11/2)

2. Chris Duhon (17/8/10)

3. Wilson Chandler (14/4/3 +13)

Sunshines vs. The team coached by he who must not be named.

1. Wilson Chandler (26/5/2)

2. David Lee (15/15/7)

3. Danilo Gallinari (21/0/1)

Overall Rank:

1. David Lee - 10

2. Al Harrington, Chris Duhon - 5

3. Larry Hughes, Gallo - 4

4. Wilson Chandler - 2

Wil's stepping up in the absence of Hughes and David Lee keeps doing his thing this season. I know it's still early in the season, and this team has broken our hearts countless times over the past eight years but it's always nice to see the team go on a good stretch like this. Since we don't have a first round draft pick I am down with going all out to get into the playoffs.

Posting and Toasting Blowing the Hive up with Sunshine

Editor's Note: Remember when the Knicks used to play basketball games? Back in action tomorrow night.

Sorry for putting this up so late but I was busy with studying, christmas shopping and getting wasted. I'll keep it nice and short so we can look forward to tomorrow's game.

Sunshine Stickaz @ New Orleans Hornets:

1. Al Harrington (28/7)

2. David Lee (17/14)

3. Chris Duhon (22/9ast)

Overall Sunshine Rank:

1. David Lee - 8

2. Al Harrington - 5

3. Duhon & Larry Hughes - 4

4. Gallo - 3

Not gonna throw a poll up, just going to say that we should really reflect and appreciate how the team is playing and hopefully they keep it up. 1 1/2 away from the eighth seed.

Posting and Toasting Sunshine Stickers 12/09/09

Seth said to make these a separate fanpost because they wouldn't be happening too often. Well now Seth's word is NULL.

Is this three game win streak the best three game win streak in the past seven years? I think so!

If there were anyway to make rain clouds and wind happy I would do it, because I'm looking out my window right now and there is no sunshine in sight. I'm actually afraid of what I'm going to have to walk through to get to class.

Anyway, impressive Knicks D brought us an impressive Knicks V. Here are our sunshines.

12/07/09 - W vs. Portland Trailblazers (Trailblazer is a person who blazes a trail for others to follow through unsettled country or wilderness; pathfinder, OR a pioneer in any field of endeavor)

1. Larry Hughes - 21/7/2 10/18FG 4/8 from downtown. www.larryhughespleasekeeptakinggoodshotsandplayingefficientbasketball.com

2. David Lee - 17/10/2 7/8 from the charity stripe. How fucking nice is Lee's midrange jumper looking right now?

I really can't come up with someone who should get the third sticker so I'm going to leave it up to you guys in the poll. I think I offended some people with my Greg Oden knee comment (or lack of knee comment) so here is a family friendly poll, and by tomorrow morning we'll have our three sunshines. Fun!

Posting and Toasting Sun to the Shine 12/07/09

I have a question before I bring the ray of light on to our beloved Knicks. 95 people said that Chris Duhon would return to pissing us off during yesterdays game. How do you all feel today? Seth's right, he did drive to the hoop and he was taking the shots that you would like him to take. I'm still hesitant towards being pleased with his performance though. An off night afternoon like the one Du Du had yesterday could be understandable if he was having even a semi-good year, but I don't think anyone is being a downer when they say that the game Du Du had against Atlanta was a once in a month type game and that the Nets game was a regression towards what we've already been seeing. Just a thought.

Our sunshines:

1. Al - 26pt 14 reb!!!!!!!!!!!! 5ast. Only three shots taken from beyond the arc.

2. David Lee - 24pt 9reb. Typical efficient game from Lee. Even though Lopez ran all over him on the other end in the 1st half, Dave didn't let it hinder his offensive game.

3. Larry Hughes - 25/4/4. 14/17 from the FT line. Hughes getting to the hoop in the second half is a big reason why we came back.

Overall Sunshine Rank:

1. David Lee - 6

2. Al - 4

3. Du-Du and Hughes - 3

4. Gallo - 2

Editor's Note: Willy's gonna be handing these out after every win. Pay attention. You just might learn something.

Knicks 114, Hawks 107

What I plan on doing is photo shopping our top "sunshines" face on to the sticker. However, seeing that our top sunshine this past game was Chris Duhon, I refused. He still makes me sick like the flu. What makes me even more sick is, according to the sunshine rank, when Duhon plays well, the whole team plays well. Last night was a great step for Du, but hopefully he doesn't stumble against the Nets tomorrow. Anyway, the rewards.

1.  Du-Du (24pts 10ast 0 TOs!!!!!!!! 4/8 from 3)

2. Al (25 pts 5 rebs 4/8 from 3)

3. David Lee (18 pts 17 rebs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! +7)

Overall Sunshine Rank

1. David Lee - 5

2. Al and Du-Du - 3

3. Hughes and Gallo - 2

I think we can all agree that the sunshine rank is properly showing us our MVP to date.

Posting and Toasting Nate Robinson says, "Shut Yall Mouths."

So I was reading the fake Chris Duhon twitter account (which isn't really funny) and I came across a tweet from the real Nate Robinson twitter account (really funny.)

http://twitter.com/nate_robinson/status/5721941275

Man yall talk way too much garbage....shut yall mouths...

Seems like people are getting on Nate for the way the Knicks have been playing. By the way, does anybody know what the fuck "Word Aapp!!" means? Nate just dropped a few pegs down in my book though, he needs to be above all the shit talking. If this is the first time he has noticed people talking shit about the Knicks it's pretty sad.

Posting and Toasting THE THIRD ANNUAL POSTING AND TOASTING FANTASY BASKETBALL LEAGUE

It's that time of the year again.

The basics: League: Yahoo

#:213426

password:waltclyde

Fourteen team league. We filled up twelve last year and the site seems to have picked up a considerable amount of traffic since then so we should be able to fill it up easily. The scoring and settings are standard Yahoo settings, but if anyone wants to change anything I am open for suggestions.

The draft date is tentative. If there are no problems with the current one (October 26th @ 9:30PM) it will just stay at that date. If people have a problem with it I'll suggest a change and we'll go from there.

Good luck!

NEW YORK -- Stephon Marbury was inactive again Sunday, and Knicks president Donnie Walsh plans to speak with coach Mike D'Antoni and his point guard this week in hopes of clearing up an uncomfortable roster situation.

Posting and Toasting What If

Note from Seth: In lieu of some badass mammals, I give you this diary from our boy Willy, ennumerating the number of times we lost to shitty teams or came thisclose to winning. It hurts.

You know...

So what if the Knicks actually win all of these "must-win" games throughout the season?

Lets go all the way back to the beginning of the season and add up all the games the Knicks should've won. Not the games lost to teams over .500, and not to teams that are around the same record as them, but teams they should've SMACKED down.

1. November 3rd vs. Atlanta Hawks
- Joe Johnson drops 30 and shits all over the Knicks and their 17 TOs.

2. November 18th vs. Boston Celtics
- The worst part was this was a home game, the second worst part was that I attended this game, and the third worst part is that the Celtics have the second worst record in the NBA.

3. December 11th vs. Boston Celtics
- See game 2.

4. December 23rd vs. Philadelphia 76ers
- Okay so maybe the hot streak had to end sometime, but not against the 76ers who just got rid of A.I.

5. January 2nd vs. Sacramento Kings
- Ron Artest shot 68% from the floor.

6. January 12th vs. Charlotte Bobcats
- Apparent ally the Knicks forgot how to play defense.

7. January 28th vs. Milwaukee Bucks
- Buzzer Beater.

8. January 31st vs. Charlotte Bobcats
- These losses are just as frustrating as the Celtic ones.

9. February 21st vs. Philadelphia 76ers
- Kyle Korver dropped bombs over Baghdad.

10. February 28th vs. Boston Celtics
- Three losses? No good.

11. March 6th vs. Seattle Supersonics
- Marbury's missed free throw.

12. March 22nd vs. Portland Trailblazers
- Another game I went to. Dlees return is spoiled.

13. April 4th vs. Philadelphia 76ers
- Knicks still can't win after two missed free throws by Kyle Korver.

So that's thirteen games. In a perfect world that would make the Knicks 44-30, good for 1st place in the Atlantic and the third seed in the East. Even if they didn't win all of these games, winning one or two against one of these teams would help them out right now.

Now I know what they mean by "must-win" games, look how it's effecting them now.
