A few weeks ago then Ted took over there was talk that he wouldn't change the name of the team but would likely change the uniforms/colors. Does anyone know if that's gonna happen this off season, or at all?

They should go back to basic/classic red/white/blue and have part of the W and the I from wizards mimmick the "hands" from the L's in the old Bullets logo. that would be sweet.

Seems like with John Wall confirming his jersey number yesterday, the Wiz have a marketing opportunity to sell lots of Wall jerseys this offseason so maybe they'll do this color/uni redesign sooner than later.

Does anyone know yet for sure?

i know the Wiz aren't looking for max free agents this offseason, but wouldn't an Arenas for Bosh in a sign and trade work on some level?

Toronto is staring at losing Bosh for nothing. why not take a chance on a Gilbert. he's an exciting scorer who will be out to prove himself (and maybe Hedo Turkoglu decides to show up this season).

The Wiz would add a young-ish power forward in his prime to team up with John Wall. seems like with all the cap room cleared by moving Butler/Jamison (and then Arenas in this deal), washington could do it.

of course i'm not sure if Wall is enough to lure Bosh when he'd likely have an option to play elsewhere with Lebron, but who knows.... 

Hey everybody... i realize that Albert Haynesworth and all the sagas revolving around him (money, confrontation with coach and teammates, and a pregnant stripper) makes for better ratings and page views and overall juiciness.... but c'mon, getting offensive tackle Jammal Brown from the new orleans saints is a HUGE story. okay, the acquisition of a linemen in late june is not the stuff of mass media hysteria, but real Redskins fans should know that this could be a big key to the success of McNabb and the team.

So the Skins dont retire numbers (other than 33 for Sammy Baugh) but they kinda sorta unofficially retire some.

hmm....

HERE is a look at the numbers some new Redskins will wear and which ones are unofficially retired already. you know McNabb is wearing 5 of course, but who's wearing Chris Samuels number?

Hello again everybody.

As most Redskins fans know, there are still NO Hogs in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, OH. But once again legendary guard Russ Grimm is a finalist. Enductees will be announced the say before the Super Bowl, so keep your fingers crossed. I know a lot of people (Redskin fans and national media alike) assume that Jason Campbell is not the guy at QB for the Redskins, but I think he is. We need to not only go inside the numbers, but also consider the content of his character and the situation(s) he has played under.
