Moved it just for you spants. I guess you didn't read the part before about this was just a "for fun" idea. Not serious. Loosen your belt dude, who do you think you are going off like that.

My wife and I were talking about all the different line ups and came up with this one, just for fun, based on order of jersey number...so it would look something like this. Some players may be skipped simply because the fielding position is already filled

#4 Molina C

#5 Pujols 1B

#7 DeRosa 3B

#13 Ryan SS

#16 Duncan LF

#22 Thurston 2B

#24 Ankiel RF

#28 Rasmus CF

#29 Carpenter(or other pitcher)

See that was fun!

Utility Man?

What does everybody think about the idea of seeing how cheap we could get Nomar Garciaparra for a utility guy?

That seems like a pretty good replacement to Miles and he can play all four infield positions.

Just saw where he's pondering retirement, so he might be pretty affordable.

He finished strong last September hitting around .400 and he's not terribly old. Seems like he would be a good candidate to back up first and 2nd especially and maybe start the season at 3B.
