Scott Green to serve as Super Bowl ref
Scott Green was officiating the Green Bay-Arizona game, which ended in OT after a fumble recovery by Karlos Dansby. During that play, there was an apparent facemask (or at least blow to the QB's head) which was not called, causing all of Wisconsin to wail and beat breasts.
I love a good controversy!
2008 Draft Review

Just wanted to point out some of the ha-ha's from the 2008 draft class (you know the one). I figured since we're going to start speculating very soon on who is good and who is garbage, we should review what the "experts" were saying about our number one draft pick.

CJ had the third-fewest carries to get to 2000. I agree with the all-purpose-yards-is-the-better-record crew, so congrats on that.
Oh, and CJ is the only RB in the history of the NFL to finish with 2000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards.

VY NFL's dirtiest QB
Not entirely true: the SI poll of 296 current NFL players named Hines Ward the NFL's dirtiest player.
No running backs got any votes, but one quarterback did (our special Texas boy). How exactly can quarterback play be considered dirty?
Oh, and Rodney Harrison, who retired last summer, got 3 votes.

So Don Banks has apparently changed his tune- Titans 11-5, will win the AFC south.
Titans make it to the AFC championship and lose to the Patriots, who go on to beat the Packers in the Super Bowl.
