*Football Rumor Mill* New OC?
Footballscoop.com reported earlier that Coach Strong has an agreement with a current SEC assistant to become the next OC. Shortly after that was released rumors begin to surface that current LSU WR's coach and passing game cooridnator Billy Gonsales would be announced as Louisville's new OC shortly following the national championship game. Gonsales worked with Strong at Florida and is known to be a great recruiter. Gonsales was initialy Strongs top choice for OC when he accepted the Louisville job but Gonsales opted to take the LSU job instead. Well it seems CCS may finally have got his man. Also hearing Shawn Watson will stay on staff as QB's coach.
*Recruiting Update* Nick Dawson names his leader
As he did last year it looks like CCS is trying to close this years class out with a bang. The past few weekends Louisville's Campus has been the stomping grounds for many elite prospects on official visits. This weekends visitors was headlined by 4 star Linebacker Nick Dawson which I know most of all you are already familiar with. Louisville has been in the race for Dawsons services for quite a while now and that persistence seems to be paying off as we had down the stretch to National Signing day.
Although Dawson will not be announcing his decision until the US Army All- American game what he told Jamie Newburg of ESPN upon completion of his visit this weekend should have cards fans optimistic about seeing Dawson in Red and Black next season.
Four-star linebacker Nick Dawson (Charlotte, N.C./Berry) just got back from his official visit to Louisville. He was so impressed with his visit he came home favoring the Cardinals.
“Louisville was great,” Dawson said. “Everything was terrific. I love the big family environment. And I have a big opportunity to play at linebacker. They like me as an inside guy. Coach (Charlie) Strong has a great defensive background. That is big for me. He can help me, my game and career. I would love to go there and play that position.
“Louisville is my favorite at this point. Teddy (Bridgewater) has done a great job as a true freshman. They are going to win big with him. And I can be that QB for the defense. I just have to work hard. That would be very cool.”
Dawson, 6-foot-2 and 222 pounds, says he is now down to two schools and plans on making his decision early in January.
“I am only considering N.C. State and Louisville,” Dawson said. “N.C. State has the same type of environment and some of the same other things there. It’s going to come down to what school can do the most for me. That’s what I have to figure out. But right now I favor Louisville. I will make my decision at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.
Dawson is the No. 13 ranked inside linebacker in the nation and the No. 16 rated player from North Carolina.
We've gotta keep our composure
We've got to keep our composure during these uncertain times cards fans.......Also I thought a good laugh was needed because the thought of all this realignment and not knowing where we will land has stress levels through the roof
"They supposed to be SEC"
If you didn't watch the Kentucky - WKU game you missed what could likely have been of the worst games played this entire season. Horrible doesn't begin to describe it. Anyways there was one bright spot that came late in the second half. While coming off a t.v break the t.v crew flashed over to the toppers bench and toppers linebacker Andrew Jackson made the now famous statement "They supposed to be SEC". Im sure your going to hear alot about this but I thought I would bring it to CC since I hadn't seen it posted yet.

Breaking: Florida CB Adrian Bushell transfers to Louisville!!!
Reports are coming out that Florida cornerback Adrian Bushell has transferred and enrolled at Louisville . Bushell is highly touted CB out of Desoto, TX....Word is Bushell would be elgible immediately which would be huge considering the cornerback position is a major area of concern this season . As a member of the class of 2008 Bushell was a hot commodity aquiring offers from a slew of BCS schools such as Florida , Michigan, Nebraska ,OK State, Texas Tech etc. Bushell would come in as a redshirt sophomore giving him two years years of eligibity. Once again great job by CCS and staff!!! GO CARDS
Texas A&M informs Big 12 of its intent to explore conference options
In other words they have officially filed for divorce....
."If Texas A&M withdraws from the Conference, we want to do so in a way that complies with the Bylaws and is supportive of your efforts to seek a new member of the Conference," Loftin wrote in the letter. "We would appreciate your conferring with the other member institutions and outlining for us the process to be followed by Texas A&M should it withdraw from the Conference."

Quentin Snider Commits to Louisville!!!
After recieving an offer on his official visit yesterday the highly touted floor general from ballard high school wasted no time to pull the trigger and give a verbal to the hometown cards.
"Any other school and we might have waited," his father, Scott, said. "But Louisville is where he always wanted to go, so there was no other offer he needed to wait for. It¹s a top-10 program, and it¹s right here."
This is a great pick up.....Welcome aboard Quentin

Could Texas A&M trigger the next round of conference realignment?
During the last round of conference realignment there was alot of flirtation between Texas A&M and the SEC. Eventually the big 12 was able to survive the Pac 10's push to eliminate the conference and resumed business as usual minus Nebraska and Colorado. Well rumors are flying rapid that Texas A&M is back in talks with the SEC due to a frustration with Texas that has reached a near boiling point. The frustration surfaces from a deal between ESPN and Texas that would allow The Longhorn Network (LHN) to telecast high school football games in the state of Texas giving the longhorns an even bigger stranglehold on the state then they already have.
A&M is clearly not a fan of the idea and seems to be looking to break away from Texas and the big 12. SEC commish Mike Slive did not shoot down the thought of Adding A&M and possibly Oklahoma in a recent presser either by saying. "It is my job to make sure the SEC is the premier league,” Slive said. “For me to exclude any action that would preclude that from happening would be inappropriate.” Now Big 12 commish Dan Beebe is once again trying to save his conference by putting Texas and ESPN's plans on hold while trying to figure out a way to please eveyone involved.
But now with The Longhorn Network Beebe may not have enough power to stop what Texas is trying to do. The LHN pretty much allows Texas to control most of their own actions and they could easily break away from the conference and go independent if forced into a corner. IMO the big 12 has been a ticking time bomb for quite a while now and thats the reason the Big East did not jump and add the C-USA teams. They knew the Big 12 would or will eventually crumble leaving Kansas, Kansas State, Missouri, Ok State, Texas Tech, Baylor and Iowa State looking for a home. This would clearly be a better list to pick and chose from than anything C-USA has to offer.
*Heres is a link to an article by David Sandhop furthur discussing the matter*

Dillon Graham : A great story in the making
With all the negitivity that surrounds the summer basketball circut and most notably the July recruiting period theres stories like the one of Dillon Graham that show how important the July evaluation period is. Dillon Graham a 6"4 shooting gauard from Orlando Florida (First Academy) came into the summer with a zero star rating, no national profile and offers from a few low to mid major programs with ambitions of landing an offer from his hometown school UCF. That all changed in early july when Graham put on a show at the Adidas Invitational semifinal in front of a slew of high major coaches.
As he had hoped for Dillon received his offer from UCF but what came next was nothing short of amazing considering his national status at the beginning of the summer. Dillon begin to reel in high major offers including Kansas, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Kansas State, Florida State and USF. In a seemingly snap of the finger Graham had become a hot commodity.
"It's unbelievable," Graham said. "I never imagined myself getting offers from schools like Kansas or talking to coach Pitino. That's crazy."
"There's no question -- none of this would be possible without summer basketball," said Graham's mother, Renee Graham. "We've had mixed emotions with AAU in the past. But this whole circuit thing that he's doing right now is really terrific. These coaches would've never seen him without it. With him being at such a small school, he just wouldn't have had these opportunities at all. We're just grateful."
Graham may or may not ever suit up in a cardinal jersey but this is a great story to follow considering how much is put into how many stars a high school prospect has behind his name or whaat big time high school/ Prep school they attend. This is just an example of how the July evaluation period can give a voice and a face to the little guy. The one no one has ever heard of but put in just as much work as the big name 5 star with a laundry list of offers. Where ever Dillon Graham ends up I wish him the best.
Louisville Basketball still wears the crown when it comes to college basketballs most profitable programs
"Louisville basketball the most profitable basketball program in the country, it’s more profitable than the football program at any Big East school. It’s also more profitable than any football program in the ACC or Pac-10! Keep in mind, these numbers were for the season before Louisville basketball began play in a new arena." via Kristi Dosh

Louisville checks in at #21 behind twenty football programs on the 50 most profitable collage athletic programs.
This Seasons Breakout Performer (The Freshmen Edition)

This years Breakout Performer (The Freshmen Edition)
Yesterday I posted a poll to see who you all thought would have a Bilal Powell type year and have a breakout season. Well today I have shifted my focus to the young guys. We all know CCS has no problem with playing freshmen. He was quoted as saying no one keeps there starting job season to seaon. You have to comeback and earn your spot at the begginning of each season. With Louisville signing the highest rated class in school history last year and a thin depth chart at certain positions the are alot of freshmen that are going to see the field sooner rather than later. So my question to you is ......Who is the one?......Who will step up?........Who will breakout?
This Seasons Breakout Performer

THIS SEASONS BREAKOUT PERFORMER
After witnessing Bilal's breakout senior season last year it made me wonder.....Who could be the player to have a breakout season on this years squad. There are alot of likely canidates so I started a poll to see what my fellow CC members think. Personaly Im on the fence with Josh Bellamy, Josh Chichester and Hakeem Smith. I really dont know which way to go. Chichesters move to tightend is going to give opposing defenses headaches due to his size and athletic ability. Bellamy is just flat out a baller (theres not much else to say about him) and Hakeem Smith is primed for a monster season. I know we will be young but I think we are going to suprise alot of people. Cant wait for the season to get started.
GO CARDS!!!!!
Ryan Harrow Update
Ryan Harrow completed his visit to Louisville and from various reports the visit went great. One such report coming from DC_Recruiting states..... out of the three visits he has taken (Kentucky) (Texas) (Louisville) the Louisville visit was a bit ahead of the others.
DC_Recruiting Ryan Harrow has enjoyed all 3 of his visits so far but a source tells me the Louisville visit was 'a bit ahead' of the others.
Ryan also had this to say about the Yum Center via his twitter:
@12Harrow: There is and I repeat there is no arena like the YUM center.#CARDNATION
Harrow has two visits remaining (St.John's) (Georgia). Last week St. Johns was rumored to be the frontrunner to land Harrow but that could quickly change with the recent news that Momo Jones would be transfering from Arizona and is likely to head back to New York which would likely have him landing St. John's.
I think the visit has placed us in good position with Harrow but the way things have gone lately I refuse to get to high or to low on any of these recruits.

Can we use Jeff Walz to recruit for the men and womens team
Coach Jeff Walz has been absolutely killin it on the recruiting trail during his tenure here at Louisville . With a commitment today from Mcdonalds All-American Bria Smith Walz now has two Mickey D AA's in the 2011 class and the number 6 ranked class in the nation. Louisville now has had four staight top 25 classes and two top ten class in the last three years. Kudos to coach Walz and his staff for the great job their doing.
Sean Miller to Maryland? And why it could be good news for Louisville
Multiple reports including this one from SB Nation http://arizona.sbnation.com/2011/5/7/2159051/sean-miller-leaving-arizona-for-maryland-reports-say are reporting that Sean Miller will accept an offer to become Marylands new coach. In just 2 seasons at Arizona Miller brought the wildcats back to prominence and back to recognition among the elite in college basketball. This is somewhat of a suprising move considering what Miller had coming back mixed with a top 10 recruiting class Arizona was set to have a big year next year in a weak Pac 12 but reports also indicate that his wife had allergies that did not agree with the being in the desert (Tucson) and wanted to move back east. And for all of us that are Married we all know if momma aint happy nobody's happy.
Now you might ask.....Why would it be good news for Louisville? Well It seems Rick is determined to add a PG to the 2011 class and the two best options may become available if Miller does indeed accept the job as expected.. Remember the names Josiah Turner and Nick Johnson? They were two guards that were high on Louisville before committing to Arizona. Both are 5 star guys and Johnson is actually listed as a SG but is a natural fit at the point. It also cant hurt that we now have Wyking on staff being that both of these kids are from the west coast and he has such strong ties out there.

Rodney Purvis tweet reguarding the Kevin Keatts hire
IMO Rick made three home run hires. But when it comes to Rodney Purvis it seems the Kevin Keatts hire may be the most important. Its no secret Purvis is a must have for us and is the Jewel of our 2012 class but after Tim Fuller's departure uncertainty about Purvis's desicion to remain a card has rattled the cardinal nation. Well just a few hours ago Purvis sent out the this tweet which should make fans feel better about where we stand with Purvis after the coaching shake up.
@rpurvis_44 Rodney Purvis
Coach Keatts the MAN !!!! love that guy .
Wyking Jones to Louisville?

Wyking Jones - Assistant New Mexico
With all the madness going on lately the coaching search to fill the open coaching vacancies has been put on the back burner. One spot has been filled by Richard Pitino still leaving two open spots. Well it looks like one name we should get familiar with is Wyking Jones. Wyking is currently on staff at New Mexico were he works under Steve Alford where it seems he's held in high regard.http://thelobolair.com/forum/showthread.php?t=28064 Pitino made it clear that one thing these three new hires would have in common is they would have to be excellent recruiters and it seems he's sticking by that. Jones played at Loyola Marymount in the 1990s, then coached under Paul Westphal at Pepperdine before becoming Nike's traveling-team manager giving him strong connections in recruiting circles. The ABQ journal out of New Mexico is reporting that a interview has been set and an offer could soon follow.
MORE NAMES EMERGING:

Will Wade - Assistant VCU
At 28 years old wade is a young energetic assistant who is described as having a relentless work ethic.
"When Head Coach Shaka Smart hired Will Wade last year, all he could talk about was Wade’s work ethic."
“There’s that saying, ‘don’t work harder, work smarter.’ Well, Will works harder and smarter,” Smart said. “He struck me as the hardest working guy I knew. His attention to detail is second to none, and he’s really good at developing relationships. I knew that Will was someone we had to have on staff here.”
Wade had a big role in VCU's final four run and is becoming a hot name in coaching circles. Anyone who knows anything about Pitino knows work ethic is at the top of his list when it comes to players and assistants so thats most likely what drew his attention to the promising young up and comer.
“I’m never truly away from it,” Wade said. “I’m always thinking about it, working on something. I keep a pad next to my bed, and I might wake up at one in the morning and write something down."
* Breaking News * A report has surfaced that Rick had narrowed his search down to Wyking Jones, Will Wade, and Kevin Keatts. Well now tweet from http://twitter.com:80/#!/BrianKlomanFerg is indictating Rick has completed his staff and has decided to go with Wyking Jones and Kevin Keatts and an announcemd comes as early as tommorrow while other sources are are saying possibly tuesday.I'm going to hire three recruiters — Richard being one of them," Pitino said. "Three guys who are very good at everything, but the one obvious thing that sticks out is they have to have a great ability to recruit."
Rick Pitino
What does John Pelphrey joining the Florida Staff really mean?
A report surfaced today that John Pelphrey has rejoined the Florida Staff. Is this just Billy Donovan just taking advantage of the opportunity to strengthen his staff by adding a former head coach or is there something else to it. Like the fact Billy Donovan knows Richard is on his way back to Louisville. I get a feeling we will here something very soon about who wll replace Stevie and with this move its hard to believe it wont be Richard.

Admission to the Night of Future Stars is free with a ticket to the Basketball Classic. Some of the event's most exciting moments have occurred during the Slam Dunk, 2-on-2 and 3-Point Shooting competitions. There will also be a one-hour autograph-signing session following the event.
Pat Moorer
Well after taking time to let the early exit from the NCAA tournament set in after a great season spring practice couldn't haven't came quick enough. With that said I've attended practice and coach Pat Moorer needs a standing ovation for the job he's done with these players, Being the stregnth and conditioning coach by rule Moorer can work with the players year around unlike CCS or the other other coaches. You can just see a sense of toughness in these guys that is a pure reflection of what Moorer is all about. You can also tell there has been some serious work done in the weight room. There are noticeable changes in these guys physic as a team . But to just name a few Bellamy now looks like he could be one of our starting linbackers and Marcus Smith has put in some serious work during the off season. There were rumbling around practice that his measurements were now 6"4 250lbs and he would be moving to defensive end. (WOW) ...Remember this is the same Marcus Smith that came in as a 220lbs QB. CCS, Bedford, Hurtt and the other position coaches get most of the spotlight which is rightfully deserved but the job Moorer is doing needs to be highlighted also. On a side note bridgewater looks the part of a future star....He needs to add weight but the kid throws a great ball and his mobity will make him hard to contain if the pocket breaks down. The future is so bright for Louisville athletics as a whole I would consider purchasing the darkest pair of sunglasses you can find... GO CARDS!!!!!!
RUMOR: Damarcus Smith in the process of requesting a release of his LOI to UCF
No confirmation but a rumor is floating that Damarcus Smith has came to his senses and is in the process of requesting a release from his LOI to UCF. Like I said there is no confirmation on this but thought it was something to keep an eye on so figured I would pass it on. This would not really be suprising being that most of us figured once the smoke settled and the emotions were taken out of the desicion he would realize he made a mistake. We might know more about this tommorrow.
And the saga continues..........
UPDATE : Rumor has been confirmed... DS is indeed in the process of trying to get a release from his LOI with UCF
Shawn Watson to be named Louisville's new QB's coach
It seems as if CCS has found his new replacement for former QB's coach Mike Groh, And a good one at that. Former Nebraska OC and QB coach Shawn Watson is expected to be announced in the next couple of days. Watson brings something that Groh didn't and thats a ton of experience which should really benefit Teddy B. Heres a look at Watsons track record :
1982, Southern Illinois (graduate assistant coach); 1983-84, Illinois (graduate assistant coach); 1985, Illinois (assistant coach/tight ends and offensive tackles); 1986, Illinois (assistant coach/wide receivers); 1987-89, Miami (Ohio) University (assistant coach/tight ends); 1990-93, Miami (assistant coach/quarterbacks, recruiting coordinator); 1994-96, Southern Illinois (head coach); 1997-98, Northwestern (assistant coach/quarterbacks); 1999, Colorado (assistant coach/quarterbacks); 2000-2005, Colorado (assistant coach/offensive coordinator, quarterbacks); 2006, Nebraska (assistant coach/tight ends, recruiting coordinator); 2007-10, Nebraska (assistant coach/offensive coordinator, quarterbacks) .
This now gives CCS two coaches on the offensive side of the ball with head coaching experience. Watson took alot of heat for Nebraska's late season offensive struggles but make no mistake this would be a hell of a hire for CCS. This is a guy that was recently in strong consideration for head coaching jobs at Vanderbilt and Miami ( OH) and also turned down the Alabama OC job in 2008. Welcome aboard coach Watson.

Theres been a Tony Woods sighting
I was not able to attend the Wayne Blackshear showcase at Eastern yesterday but acocording to Mike Huges of ITV and Jody Demling of the CJ.......Tony Woods and Zach Price were together at the game.
" After the game, Blackshear collected his MVP trophy, then went to the stands where he was embraced by his family and future UofL teammates Tony Woods and Zach Price" via Mike Hughes
This got me thinking about how deep our frontcourt is going to be next year...We will possibly have the best and most certainly deepest frontcourt in the entire Big East . TJ, G-Dieng, Tony Woods, Zach Price rotating at the 5. Rock, Behanan, Swop, SVT, rotating at the 4. No matter which way you mix and match them its going to add up to a pretty damn good frontcourt. Im truly enjoying the ride this year but the thoughts of a resurgent Rick and Next years team roster is mind blowing,
Conference Expansion Talk Resurfaces
It seems the new 300 million dollar T.V deal Texas just signed has ruffled some feathers in College Station (TX) and Norman ( OK ). When the last waive of conference realignment talk started there was alot of talk that Texas A&M and Oklahoma would join the SEC. Could you blame them from wanting to break apart from The Big 12 by the way they cater to Texas. The big 12 operates on a revenue sharing agreement which keeps Texas atop the big 12 in revenue year in and year out.
The last year revenue data was made public was 2007, and here's who earned how much, according to the Omaha World-Herald:
1. Texas: $10.2 million
2. Oklahoma: $9.8 million
3. Kansas: $9.24 million
4. Texas A&M: $9.22 million
5. Nebraska: $9.1 million
6. Missouri: $8.4 million
7. Texas Tech: $8.23 million
8. Kansas State: $8.21 million
9. Oklahoma State: $8.1 million
10. Colorado: $8.0 million
11. Iowa State: $7.4 million
12. Baylor: $7.1 million
Many believe the unequal sharing, the catering to Texas by the big 12 and the obvious increase in conference pay out was the main reasons Nebraska broke away from their long time rival Texas and jumped at a chance to join the big 10. Could Texas A&M be next? Here is a report from college football talk discussing the matter. http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/01/24/am-to-sec-rumors-surface-yet-again/. If Texas A&M were to jump ship for the SEC Oklahoma would most certainly follow leaving the big 12 with their backs against the wall once again after the departures of Nebraska and Colorado. Except this time the big 12 would not be able to bounce back. With their own network now Texas would likely become an independent and the big 12 north would likely be headed to the big east being that according to Bill Self the big east was ready to extend invitations during that last round of alignment:
"To be honest with you, Kansas could have been making the same announcement today that TCU made. And Kansas State could have been in there too, because the feeling that we got -- or we had, when the conference realignment was going on, that if by chance, Texas would have gone to the Pac-10 and we would have stayed buddies with Kansas State and not separated and done all that stuff, then the Big East would have came and gotten us, and KSU, and Iowa State, and Missouri. Which, in theory, you say, 'Oh god, the Big East, bad travel.' They would have gone to divisions, so we would have had divisions with probably the teams that are close, and maybe Louisville and Cincinnati or whatever."
Right now the Texas A&M talk is just rumors and speculation but you have to be wondering if teams in the big 12 north are getting tired of putting their future in the hands of the big 12 football powers when the big east is sitting in the shadows looking to expand its football playing members and would accept them with open arms. With the addition of Kansas, Missouri, K-State and Iowa State and the addition of Villanova as a football playing member the big east would carry the label as the first true Mega conference with 20 total teams and 14 football playing members. They would need to break into two divisions
NORTH:
PITT, NOVA, SYRACUSE, SEATON HALL, RUTGERS, PROVIDENCE, UCONN, ST, JOHNS, CINCY, IOWA STATE
SOUTH:
WEST VA, LOUISVILLE, SOUTH FLA, TCU, KANSAS, K-STATE, MISSOURI, MARQUETE, NOTRE DAME, GEORGETOWN
This big east next move would have to be to secure a lucrative T.V deal to increase revenue and conference payouts. The big east is well behind the other BCS conferences when it comes to payouts and with T.V markets secured from Texas to New York and everywhere in between the big east could possibly land a nice deal to keep par with the other conferences or at least be in the same neighborhood.
My Opinion:
The Big East should hold off sending invitations to multiple C-USA teams and lay and wait because the big 12 is going to eventually collapse. Teams like Texas A&M and Oklahoma are getting tired of kissing Texas's pinky ring and this new T.V deal didnt help the matter so if an invitation comes from the SEC their going to jump at the opportunity resulting in the demise of the big 12 and opening the door for the big east to raid the north.
Kentucky fans playing with fire
Its one thing to take shots at Pete Thamel but taking shots and threatening NCAA president Mark Emmert is flat out dumb. Emmert had to close down his facebook page due to the feedback his was getting from UK fans over the Kanter descision.
Via phone and e-mail, blogs and social networks, Kentucky followers have been particularly outspoken, flooding Emmert's Facebook page with so much vitriol that the NCAA was compelled to block posts by outsiders. Without specifying the source or subject, Williams says he got an e-mail a couple of weeks ago warning, "You'd better check your car."
As the saying goes ......you dont want to poke a sleeping bear......and thats exactly what Kentucky fans are doing. Not a smart move Kitten fans. I knew their fanbase was over the top but this is just dumb.
Recruiting Update 1/19/2011
* Big time OL Spencer Region Loved his visit to Louisville last weeked. The visit actually went so well Spencer will be making a return trip to "The Ville" before signing day which could spell good news for CCS and staff. Region was set to visit LSU this weekend but a report surfaced earlier that the visit has been canceled. No confimation on that but if its true Louisville could have emerged as the leader in his recruitment which would be huge with less than a month left until signing day.
* Many cards fans including myself thought Andrew Buie would committ shortly after his visit. Then a report surfaced that Buie would not be visiting and it seemed Louisville and Buie had parted ways. Well Buie clearified the situation to Hays Carlyon of Jacksonville.com by saying this "Louisville called and said they had maxed out their scholarships for this class and there was no room for me," Buie said. "So, on Wednesday I called West Virginia and luckily they were able to get a visit set up for me.". I guess things are going in the right direction when were turning away 4* running backs.
* Jon Davis will be visiting Louisville this weekend and Louisville looks to be in a good shape with the 4* TE. Joker didn't help his case with Davis this week by landing commitment from Tight End Alvin Dupree. Maybe Joker knew he had lost his prize Tight End to the good guys and decided to move forward a secure another commitment at that position. My thought is that Davis will be a Cardinal next season.
* Gerrod Holliman and Andrew Johnson have an upcoming visit to Ole Miss. Its a few ways to look at this. One you can view it as they already had this visit planned even before they committed and they want to take advantage of a free trip to hang out with some friends they have down there. Two you can view as if Ole Miss is still heavily in the picture and even though their committed this is going to come down to a signing day descision . I think were still in good shape but until they sign their LOI im not sure which way to go with these two.
A FEW OTHER NOTES...
* CCS is scheduled to make an in home visit with Kaleb Johnson today and so expect a commitment shortly after from Kaleb. This would be a nice pick up for our OL.
* Former Louisville committ Chris Dukes has reportedly committed to Toledo.
* BJ Dubose had a great visit to Louisville last weekend and now we have emerged as one of his favorites coming down the stretch.
* Dont expect to see Robert Terrell wearing Red and Black. It seem as if Terrell and Louisville are on the verge of parting ways over Terrell not wanting to be greyshirted.
* On a basketball note.......Don't forget next Sunday at Eastern High School two future Cardinals Rodney Purvis ( Upper Room) and Wayne Blackshear ( Morgan park ) will be going head to head. This will be a great chance to see these two live and Im sure it will be standing room only. I kinda figured they would have moved this game to bellarmine to accomidate the crowd.
