Hopefully if you are reading this then your not too angry at me for posting this in the space where you generally read about our Seahawks. I have been reading Fieldgulls for 3 or 4 years now and wanted to extend an invitation to any of my fellow readers in the Bellingham area to a weekly flag football game that I have going. We've had a solid group of about 12-16 guys playing most weekends between August and March for the last three years and we play anywhere from 4 vs 4 up to 8 vs 8 just depending on who shows up on any given week.

Over the last six months or so, for various reasons, we've had a number of people move away from the area and finding consistant replacements has been a bit of a challenge. Generally, We'll send out an email during the week to everyone who plays on a regular basis and figure out our numbers for the week and then pick the time to play. The game gets pretty competitive but its very good natured and everyone is respectful. Most of the people who play are between 27-34, but any age is welcome to come. We have never had a fight or any injury worse than a rolled ankle or pulled hamstring and the entire thing is really a lot of fun.

P.S. I've never done one of these before so I apologize in advance for the wierd format it comes out in.

I just got tickets for my girlfriend and I for the match on Saturday against the timbers and I was hoping for some advice.  I was wondering if there is anything come game day that we should know about.  We plan on going to the March to the Match and I was curious if there is anything else pre or post match that we should check out. 

Its going to be our anniversary on the 14th and we are both really excited to finally be able to make it down for a match (we live up in Bellingham).  We are in our mid 20's and both fairly out going and just looking to enjoy the whole game experience.  Any advice or tips you could give me to make the day that much better would be very appreciated.
