Why not include Portland in the trade?
Its clear that Portland wants Harris. Its clean the Nets want Melo. And its clear that Denver wants our picks.
Whats so wrong in making this into a three team deal? Sending Harris off to Portland along with Morrow and Outlaw isn't so bad if were getting Melo and Billups back along with Ferrnandez along with the expiring contract in Przybilla. And Denver would get Favors, and the expiring contracts in Miller and Murphy along with 2 or 3 first round draft picks.
Its a win win situation. For just making this a two team trade makes no sense. Everyone knows that Lawson is Denver's future pg so why would they want Harris?
This trade works in the trade machine.

Do you think this is what the nets should do?
Can We Save Our Future And Keep Melo?
The nets can get melo without even giving up any of our so called favorites - Favors, Lopez, Devin and twill i think we can keep them all.
We can offer Denver Melo for Murphy, James, Hump and like 2 or 3 1st rounders with some cash. Believe it or not that can honestly b the best offer denver can receive from anyone.
Clippers - aren't going to offer kaman griffen or gordon so they would have 2 give up davis just to match salaries and i doubt denver wants another pg.
Kings - will def not offer evans or cousins. sac biggest contract is Dalembert which is a bum unlesss they offer a package of Udrih Garcia Thompson and Caspi. But i believe the nets offer is still better.
Houston - can give the best talent but have no picks or cash 2 give. They can give Battier, Martin, Jeffries and Hill fpr melo and jr. That is tough to compete with but i think melo would rather go 2 the nets than Houston anyway.
Wolves - do have alot of young players to offer with picks and cash but i doubt they are willing 2 give up alot of talent because no1 on thier roster makes more than 5mil so they would have to package alot of players.
There is competion 4 the nets on the melo hunt but i believe the nets can make it happen without giving up any 1 of our "future stars"
Can we make this happen or would we have to give up someone like twill or favors?

I was watching the NBA's schedule selection special on nba and they kept on discussing who is the NBA's best players in the NBA. These are my top. Of course everyone has their opinion so i expect a bunch of different opinions than my owns.

3) Dwayne Wade
4) Kevin Durant
6) Brandon Roy
7) Derron Williams
8) Dirk Nowitizki
9) Chris Paul
10) Dwight Howard

Nuggets WIlling to Trade Anthony?
There is an article on hoopsworld that shows that carmelo anthony would be a free agent next summer and everyone knows that. But they also write on how they don't want him to walk away with nothing in return. So denver is thinking about trading the guy. If this article is accurate than i much rather go after him in a trade and get another small piece in free agency.
What do you guys think about this?
Possible back up pg
Lets put aside all the top free agents for a second and come to an understanding in a back up pg. Someone that can come off the bench without giving Avrey any worries about keeping Devin on the bench.
Here are a few names that r good players. They are restricted players so we might have to bid against other teams.
In random order.
Randy Foye
Which would b a better fit in the Nets?
Perfect Off Season
Many people wouldnt trade the number 3 pick, but if it was to bring you cp3 then why not. Trading harris along with the 3rd pick for Paul would still leave us with all of our cap space which is incredible to say. Then if you still want a good 1st round pick buy Miami's because they are shopping it. At 18 you have a lot of options to go from there (give your opinion on who you'll take at 18). Either sign Lebron which that alone makes it a great off season and get a pf in free agency who we can afford. Or go back to the Rudy Gay and David Lee situation. Either way you can't go wrong. If the nets do go after gay and lee they might have enough cap space left to maybe go after john salmons. And don't forget about the 27th and 31st pick. Yea this sounds a little good to be true, but it is a posibility.
lineup: cp3, salmons, gay, lee, lopez. BENCH: 18th 27th 31st twill clee yi
OR
lineup: cp3, clee, lebron, Free agent, lopez. bench 18th 27th 31st twill yi.
Give me feed back and your opinions.
SIGN AND TRADE
Hawks fans are almost certain that Jamal Crawford would b the hawks starting sg next season. You just can't let a player like Joe Johnson walk out the door with nothing in return. How about a sign and trade with the nets sending harris to Atlanta in return for Joe Johnson? The backcourt of Jamal and Devin would give Atlanta one of the best scoring backcourts in the nba. Harris, Crawford, Willams, Smith, and Hordford gives the hawks a fun and exciting lineup.
MOVING ON WITHOUT CP3
On netsdaily.com an article posted that the nets could persue in cp3 since the hornets r trying to rebuld.
They spoke about trading cp3 for the number 3 pick. Which would give the hornets more flexable cap space and the number 3 pick letting them rebuild with a new coach and Collison, Thornton, and either favors, cousins or johnson?
Of course without cp3 the chances of making the playoffs are slim but the chances of rebuilding faster this can help.
feedback and comments r appreciated
RAY ALLEN NBA FINALS RECORD IN A SINGLE GAME
I said this from the beginning that the nets should go after Allen in the free agency hunt. He can still ball. Comon u can't knock his game he can ball, and is THE BEST shooter out there. Put him around Harris and lopez anything can happen in a halfcourt game and on the break. Ray Allen should b our starting sg next year. I much rather have Allen than Lee.
Comments and feedback is appreciated
trade for devin harris?
pacers should trade for a good scoring pg in devin harris to the nets.
nets get - tj ford and the 10th pick which won't really b all that great
pacers get - devin harris a true scoring pg that attacks the basket and gives the defense trouble and he can kick the ball out to granger for 3s
this trade can benefit the pacers if they want to have a chance of making the playoffs.
think about it and give me feedback's and comments
