The Sirius XM Sports Nation satellite channel has picked up Finebaum's popular sports-talk show and should begin airing it as early as Monday afternoon, Finebaum said Thursday.

Al.com: Paul Finebaum Raio Show Picked up by Sirius XM Dammit. As if national perspective of our state wasn't bad enough, now the entire country has the privilege of garnering valuable intellectual knowledge from mental giants like Charles and Tammy. If there was ever a person who needed to "shut their whore mouth and go straight to hell"......

There’s a reason the SEC hasn’t released the league schedule for the 2010 season. That’s because some games could be switching dates. Charles Bloom, an SEC associate commissioner, said Thursday that the league is trying to provide some relief for Alabama so that the Crimson Tide won't have to play six of their eight conference games next season when the opponent is coming off a bye week.

Chris Low: Changes Could be Coming to SEC Schedule This topic has been discussed here almost as much as Colt McCoy's vagina shoulder, but this is the first I've heard of the SEC office having plans to remedy the situation. OTS: This could be very big news for us, and hopefully it will come to fruition and provide us some relief. To me, anything that can break-up that brutal five-week stretch of at Arkansas, Florida, at South Carolina, Ole Miss, and at Tennessee (before going to LSU after an off week), will be great news.

With Alabama's entire team spread around a ballroom for a "Media Day" event two days prior to the BCS national title game, one player made it clear to me that he wasn't interested in talking -- yet. "I'd rather do an interview with you next year," said Scott, cornerback and former Vigor High standout.

Gentry Estes: Who's got next for Alabama? A look at five players that need to shine this spring Aside from the obvious choice of Robert Lester needing to step it up with Robbie Green's impending suspension, this quote was particularly telling regarding Scott. He's been a mystery since his arrival, and it appears that trend will continue until he lets his play speak for him on the field.

He failed an NCAA drug test for weed.

I worked late last night and went to the bar to grab a drink when I took off. I ran into one of our upcoming seniors (that I've known since he was in 7th grade) and that was his response (after a shot or two) when I asked him about Robby Green. Take it for what it's worth.

Sources at ESPN and inside the administration at a powerhouse NCAA basketball school told me today that the NCAA basketball tournament going to 96 teams is a "done deal."

SportsbyBrooks: 96-Team March Madness is a "Done Deal" For all you BCS haters, the NCAA bball tourney started as an 8-team playoff and now we have rumblings of this. Tell me now that you want a playoff in college football. This is ridiculous.

One after another, Cody began helping his practice victims to and off the Fairhope Stadium turf with, perhaps, the same wink he gave Saban. Drill work for linemen was one-on-one, meaning Cody didn't have to contend with the double teams he faced throughout his two seasons with the Crimson Tide. Ole Miss' John Jerry, an All-Southeastern Conference performer, blocked Cody as if he was trying to stop an out-of-gear bus on an incline. Southern Cal offensive lineman Jeff Byers, an All-Pac 10 player, got his fill, too.

Chase Goodbread: Cody's Weight Still a Big Topic of Discussion Good read from The Tuscaloosa News on Cody and his performance thus far in Senior Bowl practices. If the big man does indeed get his weight down before Bama's Pro Day on 3/10, I think he could very well be a mid-to-late first rounder. Some funny comment in there too about Saban being able to guess Cody's weight.

The conferences and institutions participating in the Bowl Championship Series (BCS) today released unofficial and estimated data of the net revenue from the 2010 games. For the first time, two conferences that have not earned annual automatic qualification for their champions (the Mountain West and the Western Athletic) played in the BCS games in the same year, which will lead to a record-breaking distribution to non-AQ conferences, estimated to be $24 million.

BCS Group Releases 09-10 Revenue Distribution Data I know this is an unofficial total, but it's interesting that the MWC and WAC received a total of $24 million for their appearances in the Fiesta Bowl. College Football is a business, and I hope these conferences allocate the proper percentages to the schools that took them there. Unsurprisingly, the SEC and Big 12 each pulled $22.2 million due to appearances by 2 teams each in BCS games.

3. Nick Saban, LSU/Alabama The first coach in the history of the sport to win national championships at two different schools would be higher were it not for the two-year hiatus he took from the SEC to coach in the NFL. Saban took LSU from the bottom to the top and Alabama from the middle to the top.

Ivan Maisel: Coaches of the Decade It's a safe bet everyone here will disagree with this. How are you not the greatest when you win the NC at 2 schools that you inherited from the depths of the SEC? Carroll and Meyer were left with talent by their predecessors; there's simply no contest

Here are the guys in this draft I think will be NFL stars: Eric Berry, Ndamukong Suh, Joe Haden, Rolando McClain, C.J. Spiller.

from ESPN CFB analyst Joe Schad's twitter He tracked 72 underclassmen this year and all seniors, so that's a nice endorsement for McClain, though no surprise to any Bama fan. In my opinion, the jury's still out on Spiller. He has to hope Al Davis doesn't want him, and that he goes to someone who can utilize his unique style.

"I think Eddie's a combination of Trent and Mark," [RB Coach] Burns said. "He's got great body quickness. He's got great feet. He's got a big body, he's powerful. I think he just had to figure out what type of player he wanted to be from a competitive standpoint. He's obviously got some great running skills."

Aaron Suttles: Eddie Lacy is Ready to Impress Good Read from Tidesports. Sounds Like Lacy has the qualities to be a stud running back, he just needed a year in the system to improve his blocking and overall toughness. The combination of Mark, Trent, and Eddie next year is frightening.

I'm surprised this guy still has a job. The Ingram rant is expected, but I'm curious what yall think of some of the ideas he lists?

My sincerest hope is that the rest of the season we see more behavior like this and less of this Brandon Spikes nonsense. This kid is a true example of class, and I think everyone can take something from his actions
