Giants might get Randy Johnson

John Shea talking on KNBR today from Vegas said Johnson wants to stay in the NL and on the West Coast. He said Johnson is looking for about 8 mill this year. 8 mill seems like about 2.5 mill too much. The Giants might be interested in Johnson especially if they can promote a 300 future game winner and a Hall of Famer. Seems like something the Giants would do. So much for going young.

Sabean better start looking for some hitters or Cain is as good as gone. The brass continues to ignore their lack of power and run producing offense. After they take care of their new cash cow (Lincecum) where is the money going to come from for Cain anyway?

The fact is that Zito is the cluster f*ck that has ruined the Giants ability to pull the trigger on any significant deal for years to come. Thanks to Zito, Borus, and the Giants f*cked up front office we have to sit around now and have to watch Sabes go after Aurilia for another year to fill the holes around the infield. Remember he is a gamer.

Sabean says Sandoval is the third baseman

All of you with Cantu and Atkins wishes for Chirstmas better write more letters to Santa Sabean. In a article in the SF Chronicle he has come out and said Sandoval will be at 3rd next season. The action now shifts to first base where the Giants have Ishikowa penciled in for now.

Is Sabean pulling everyones chain or is he serious? Only time will tell but here are some options the Giants might explore.

Giambi - Will Sabean bring him back to the Bay?

Burrell - Switch him to first base. Another Bay Area product.

Saltalamockia - Interesting trade possibility with the Rangers.

Santa Sabean please tell us you have some more presents in your bag for Giants fans this year. Or will he just be full of hot air yelling HO HO HO into a 75 win year.

Ugly Win but the "W" still counts

Good win for Singletary and his players. Singletary did in 3 games what Nolan could not do in 4 years. He won a game east of the Mississippi. There is no way Nolan coaches this team to a win yesterday.

The first drive of the game was the key with the 49ers taking about 7 1/2 min. off the clock. Gore got the ball 20+ times for the game and Willis continues to shine with 14 tackles and a forced fumble. It is true that Buffalo screwed themselves with missed field goals and Edwards leaving the game with a injury but the 49ers played bend not break football and pulled the game out.

The team played with good intensity and for that I salute Singletary. The 49ers were the first team from the west coast to win on the east coast this year.

49ers Red Zone Offense

The 49ers continue to have problems in the red zone. Against Dallas they stumbled settling for two field goals early in the game. Martz continues to make strange calls down by the goal line. What happened to right sprint option? Gary Plummer speculated that Homegrun may be coming to SF next year. He sounded pretty convincing that it will happen. Bye bye Martz don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

McNabb may be available next year

There is talk out of Philly that McNabb may be on his way out of Philly after this year. He may be had for the right price. Now that he knows the rules of overtime maybe the 49ers will take a shot on him. The 49ers could contend for the West next year with McNabb under center. The question is he worth the gamble of money and draft picks?

What do you think the Eagles would want for him?

49ers beat Rams Big freaking deal

The 49ers are on their way. Print up playoff tickets and drop your pants. Let's all have a freaking party. The Lambs are one of the three worst teams in the league and the 49ers are in the 6-7 range on the crapola meter.

It's time to go to Dallas and get their behinds kicked in by the Cowboys. Hill will go back to his form in the 4th quarter @ Ari. The self proclaimed greatest coach of all time (Singletary) " I will be one of the greatest coaches of all time" will get his boxers ready to drop in Dallas.

I still say to blow up the whole thing and hire a new coach with all new assistants. Don't get too excited about the Rams win; I sure have'nt.

It's good to know that Mike Nolan still cares. After the 49ers blew the game monday night Martz gets a call from his good buddy Nolan telling him what happened over again. The 49ers are walking cluster f*cks with a ex coach calling up the O cordinator the next day that is straight out of the movie The Last American Virgin. A kid who is in love with a ho that keeps on breaking his heart. The 49ers brass better get their s*it together and fire everyone and start over.

I can't take much more of this stuff and now we have to watch Jethro up in the owners box throwing frat partys with his buddies. Everytime I see him I look for Jonas brothers and Hannah Montana posters in the box with him. How old is this kid 15?

When will the maddness end? Eddie D. please do something. The Clampets have ruined your team.

The 49ers search for next QB

It starts tonight when Hill gets bounced in Arizona. Who will be the next QB for the enept minded 49ers? Will they draft another QB and start over or will they go after a QB that is in the league? The 49ers cannot afford to screw another draft up and pick the wrong guy and push the team back another 5 years.

They could sign Losman from Buffalo as a free agent or trade for Derek Anderson form Cleveland. Losman deserves another shot in another system and Anderson looks to be expendable in Cleveland with Quinn ready to step in.

They also could go young and hope they catch lightning in a bottle in the draft like Atlanta and Baltimore did. One thing is for sure is that no one on the current roster at QB should be starting next year. I hope the 49ers catch a break or at least a little lightning next year.
