From Buffalo, no not a suburb, the City of Buffalo. A fan since before I was aware, some of my earliest memories are playing with toys in a smoke filled room with my relatives cheering for the Juice. The Bills are like family, I had no choice, so I'm going with it.
During college I enjoyed the "Golden Age" of the team, but I actually rarely watched an entire game past half-time - we were usually far ahead and a lock to win. I watched "The Comeback" in a bar in Ely, Minn. right before embarking on a 10 day dog sledding trip.
I've come to believe that it's not the score so much as the time spent with family, friends or complete strangers cheering for the same thing.
Who am I kidding, when they lose it takes me a week to recover.
