We really need to keep some perspective guys. David Garrard might not be an elite quarterback like Del Rio said, but he's really the best option. Why should we be so negative about him, we have known all along that Garrard has been am inconsistent quarterback. If Garrard was the elite qb he was in 07, then he would've shown those qualities before. We have to have faith as a fanbase that Garrard can pull it together for a (semi) prime time game against a huge division rival. DG had it together for a lot of the game last year and gave us something to believe in during last years Colts game until the interceptions happened. I think Alfie is right that the bye week is the earliest we should expect Trent Edwards to start. DG still has more playoff victories than Edwards and we have to be patient about the rebuilding project that Gene Smith is undertaking. We can't expect a Dolphins turnaround of 1-15 to 11-5 in one year. This isn't college football, and the recruits aren't flooding to Jacksonville. This isn't life or death, the NFL of today relies on an elite quarterback and its been obvious that David Garrard isn't an elite qb, but he is the best we have and we need to support our team until we have something better.
