Testudo Times A little Late Night Mockery of the Pukies

I thought we could all use a little comedy right now, what with the drama around Jordan, etc. BTW I agree with Ben, we need to back off of this kid and let him live his life. If he comes back great, and if not, best of luck to him.

But anyway, I was going through my DVR and saw an episode of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He gets in some classic jabs at the Pukies during the first segment, which I thought everyone could delight in. I know I did. So to toast the beginning of DOB leading our Terps to a NC, I give you this mockery of one of our rivals(I hope that little kid from the 2004 ACC Championship is watching)

Testudo Times GW on The U

Gary is supposed to be on some show on ESPNU tonight at 6et, 3 pst. It's a show I've never heard of but it's with Andy Katz and is called Kat's Corner. Should be interesting to hear what he has to say about the incoming recruits and the outlook for next season. On another note, I know we were horrible last year, and UMD is defintely a basketball school first and foremost, but isn't anyone out there a little excited for football to start. I mean football is finally back, with the Terps(and Skins for me). I think we can surprise a lot of people who aren't expecting anything out of us. I think we can at least make a middle-tier bowl.

Testudo Times Javarie Johnson

Looks like the Terps may have pulled quite a coup in landing former committment of The U LB Javarie Johnson for the 2010 class, a highly rated national recruit. Another big time recruit for Ralph and Co. which will hopefull entice Mr. Grimes and Coleman to follow Johnson to the 2011 National Championship squad in College Park(A guy can dream can't he). Big news for football and hopefully big news in basketball today as our Terps finally get a quality win over a ranked team and move to 1-0 in the ACC. Come on Terps, take care of FSU

Testudo Times Clarence Murphy

Sounds like Clarence Murphy is headed to College Park and his teammate happens to be one Tony Grimes. All along they have been saying the will be a package deal wherever they go and Michigan had been the leader for both of their services until now I guess. Hope they stick to that pledge they made because Murphy and Grimes would be great additions to our recruiting class. Just though I would pass along some good stuff about the Terps because lately with the football team and the TRoss situation we could sure use some...
