Should the Marlins make a move for Russ Canzler?

The Rays have put the AAA MVP on waivers. It would be an interesting bat piece at worst, for the Marlins...with a chance for some spot starts at 1st. I vote yes, it's cheap and he's had two pretty good seasons at the AAA level. What's the worst that could happen?

Juan Carlos Oviedo–formerly known as Leo Nunez–has avoided arbitration

"Juan Carlos Oviedo–formerly known as Leo Nunez–has avoided arbitration with the Marlins with a one-year, $6 million deal. Oviedo earned $3.65 million last season while saving 36 games, so he would have been in line for a sizable raise via arbitration."

Sources: Campo won't return UPDATED

"Secondary coach Dave Campo will not return to the Dallas Cowboys' coaching staff next season, according to sources. Campo has been on the Cowboys' staff for 18 of his 23 years in the NFL, including serving as the head coach during three 5-11 seasons from 2000-02. He was an original member of Jimmy Johnson's coaching staff in 1989 and earned three Super Bowl rings with the Cowboys in the 1990s. He returned to Dallas in 2008 after stints as an assistant coach for the Cleveland Browns and Jacksonville Jaguars." Campo has since been replaced. From ESPN: The Cowboys will hire Jerome Henderson as their secondary coach, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports. Henderson, 41, will reunite with defensive coordinator Rob Ryan with the Cowboys. Henderson spent the last three seasons as the Cleveland Browns’ secondary coach, working for Ryan the first two years. The Browns ranked second in the NFL in passing defense this season. Henderson broke into coaching with the Jets in 2007 as an assistant defensive backs coach/director of player development. He was promoted to defensive backs coach in 2008, when Darrelle Revis made his first Pro Bowl appearance.
