As many of you already know DC.com is posting the 50 greatest players in franchise history and a few weeks ago BTB regular TCBinNYC posted a fanpost in which he attempted to generate interest in having the BTB community give their input where anyone interested could send TCBinNYC a list of their 50 greatest Cowboys and he would input those into a spreadsheet and tabulate the results. TBCinNYC's e-mail address is tye_basham@yahoo.com so feel free to pick your top 50 and send it to him.

To generate interest and maybe some debate below is my top 50 Cowboys of all time.
As most of you know, I'm going to the game this Sunday, right into the belly of the beast known as Heinz Field, however, I also am going to the dallascowboys.com radio road show Saturday night where the guest Cowboys appearing on the show will be Patrick Crayton and Martellus Bennett.

If I'm lucky enough to ask a question to one of the guys, what kind of question do you guys want me to ask either one. I'm looking for good, insightful questions. Fire away.

JESSICA SIMPSON has hit out at fans of American football team the Dallas Cowboys, for dubbing her a bad luck charm.
Devotees of the Texas team turned on Simpson after her quarterback boyfriend Tony Romo under performed during games when she was watching in the stands.

But Simpson insists she had nothing to do with the team's bad performances, telling Glamour magazine, "I don't know - other than me wearing my man's jersey and cheering him on. And him not playing the way he would've hoped and all of a sudden I'm to blame.
"That was ludicrous. I don't understand why they think that I would be a distraction to Tony. Do they really think he can see way far up in that box? No. He's the most focused person I've ever dated."

"(Jessica would) love nothing more than to get married before Ashlee," a source revealed to Star. "It upsets her that her little sister will be married and she won’t. She gets jealous when Ash gets more attention."

That’s where Jessica’s six-month romance with Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo comes in. "She’s been showing him rings in magazines," the insider said. "She tells him what she likes, and she does it right in front of his friends, too, so it’s really awkward."

Awkward or not, Jess plans to keep up the pressure. "She been joking to friends that she should take Tony to Vegas, get him drunk and drag him to the Little White Wedding Chapel."

All joking aside, the Star source claimed that if Tony doesn’t pop the question soon, Jess may just make the proposal herself. "She knows he can’t say no to her."

"Terence is a guy we want here. Period," Jones said of their 2003 first-rounder and a Pro Bowler in 2007.

The Cowboys would like to kick up talks with Newman's agent in the future. Jones did not sound the least but concerned about Newman turning 30 in September.

"I think Terence Newman is playing for as long as we want to sign him for," Jones said. "He takes great care of himself. He's a first-class guy. He's everything you want in a football player."

Jerry doesn't think Pacman will be reinstated

Jerry Jones was interviewed today and said he is not confident Pacman will be reinstated by Goodell. Well, if he really feels that way, why is he he trying to trade for him??

To me, that doesn't make any sense at all. There are no other teams even remotely interested in this thug, and for good reason, so why even bother. Pacman has made it clear he wants to play for the Cowboys, so just wait to see if and when he's reinstated to make any kind of trade. Until then, forget about him and just prepare for the draft.

Pacman Jones said on The Michael Irvin Show on ESPN radio Tuesday that he would wait until he’s traded before seeking reinstatement to the NFL.

However, Jerry Jones said he’s not confident that Pacman Jones will be reinstated by the league. "Not at all."

"It’s going to take more than just talk from Adam to get on the field."

Now this is a mock draft I love

Sam Farmer of the L.A. Times pened a mock draft and he has the Cowboys taking two of my favorite players in the draft that I would be thrilled to get if we actually selected them.

Dallas - Rashard Mendenhall, RB, Illinois - The Cowboys could use some help at cornerback and receiver too, but this is a team with precious few backs.

Dallas - Antoine Cason, CB, Arizona - Cason was not only a shut-down corner in college, but he was All-Pac-10 as a punt returner.

If we actually selected these 2 guys I'd be doing cartwheels in my down my street.

Mendenhall, in my opinion, is the best back in the draft and teamed with MB3 would form an awesome running attack.

Cason, in my opinion, is the most seasoned CB in the draft to come right in and play right away. Very underrated CB plus he's a punt returner as well.

DRC could slide down to us due to having one kidney

The L.A. Times is reporting that DRC has only one kidney and that fact might cause some teams to pass on him in the first round. Apparently, one of his kidneys needed to be removed when he was 8 years old because it wasn't functioning.

This just may cause some teams looking for a CB to take Jenkins and Talib over DRC and have him slide down to us. Never know, its possible.

The cornerback from Tennessee State, among the fastest-rising prospects according to pro scouts, has only one kidney. He was born with two but one was non-functioning and was removed when he was 8. By all accounts, it hasn't affected his ability to play.

It could, however, give teams pause when it comes to drafting him. He probably will have to sign a medical waiver to play. That said, Rodgers-Cromartie is widely considered one of the two best cornerback prospects in the class, along with Troy's Leodis McKelvin, and is expected to be one of the first 20 players selected in the April 26-27 draft.
