As the last 3 seasons as shown, Urlacher is on a downward spiral towards mediocracy. Right now we could probably trade him for a 3rd and 5th round pick. It we could get a decently low 3rd round pick for him lets jump on it.

With the freed up cap we could go after Terrell Suggs or Dansby, both not your typical cover 2 LBs but both are incredibly talented and more importantly young and in their primes. Move Mr Briggs over to MLB and let him dominate....much like Urlacher did at this stage of his career.

Now package our 2nd and 1st round picks to move up in the draft and grab one of the game changing WRs....Crabtree, Maclin. Preferrably Crabtree because Maclin may not be worth.

Just a thought to really improve our WRs and our LBs....would be nice to have Suggs and Briggs'  speed in the cover 2.
