I am working on the assumption that the Mavs get the Shawn Marion deal done, that the Magic don't match the Gortat offer, and that Dallas re-signs each of their fringe/spare parts from last year along with the proposed Q. Ross. But it looks like our roster will end up just like this in 09-10:

Howard - Marion

Dirk   -   Bass  -  Singleton

Gortat - Dampier  - Hollins

All right, after hearing about the Spurs getting Jefferson for nothing, the Cavs getting Shaq for nothing, the TWolves getting the #5 pick for two average backups, and now finding out that the Lakers simply SOLD the #29 pickfor $3MM, I am about to explode. The move by the Lakers pretty much tells you that they don't expect any FAs to get away, so that limits what else we could add. I am usually pretty forgiving, but I am about at my boiling point. What else is left?

Oh yeah, I did read that TMac might still be one the table, as well as any deal for 1 or two Clippers bigs. I'll refer you to my earlier post for that combination that is still on the table.

According to ESPN's Trade Machine, both these trades work:

Jerry Stackhouse, $2MM, and Shawn Williams for Chris Kaman
Eric Dampier and Matt Carroll for Tracy McGrady
