I'm hearing rumors Brown has scheduled official visits with FSU, OU and Bama? 

Someone please tell me this is just a "Texas-hate" rumor?

I cant imagine him de-committing when he knows he will come and be a serious contender for the starting job at TEXAS, instead of sharing touches with the plethora of RB's at OU and Bama.

He also doesnt seem like the kind of kid to flip-flop from what Ive heard.

I've been considering all the talk about "Ugly Wins". First: isn't that kind of an oxymoron? isn't winning all that matters? who cares about a pretty loss?

Maybe winning ugly is a GOOD thing? After all, there have been plenty of champions who played ugly. Teams that win in ugly fashion, normally win games with out doing what they do best. They find a way to win and having won in that manor before, believe they can win any game no matter how UGLY they are playing.

Bowl games are often won in ugly fashion. There are weeks off and teams dedicate their game plan to stopping their opponent from what they do best, and visa versa, creating an UGLY game. Blow outs are mostly because one team was more effective with their game plan and the other team forgot to get off the bus. (CHOKELAHOMA!)

So here is to winning ugly, and being UNDEFEATED. (yay, I've managed to convince myself that I'm not worried!)

AAS Columnist Cedric Golden was talking about Peter Bean and BON today on his local sports radio show, The Sports Buffet.

Seems Bean called Golden the "worst columnist in America" which is pretty harsh! I have Read BON for a while now and listened to Golden on AM1300 for about a year now too, I like that he is the voice of moderation on that show but BON is the best resource on the web for all things TEXAS.

Anyone know what Beans beef is with Golden? I respect his takes and wonder what Golden did to get in Beans doghouse!
