MLB free agent/draft question:

Ok, I need to know when losing a type A free agent (CC Sabathia-Brewers,) I know they receive 1 supplementary 1st round draft pick, but do they also get the Yankees' 1st round pick as well?  If so, do the Blue Jays (AJ Burnett) receive the Yankees' 2nd round pick and the Angels (Mark Teixeira) get the Yankees' 3rd round pick?  Is this how this works?  Thanks for the help.

Which of these do you want and why, going forward?  Obviously, these two are not prospects anymore, but I have no idea what to make of them at all.  I went back and read John's old posts on these 2, but they are from 06' and that isnt helping me out much right now.  They seem very similar to me in value to thier teams as well.  Any thoughts would be appreciated.  Thanks to all.

Luke Hughes 2B, Minnesota Twins: Don't see him on John's review of his top 20 propects for the twins. Has anybody seen this guy play and does he project to a solid starter at 2b for the twins?  Can he get some at bats  next year on the major league level or is he further away than that?  Thanks for any and all comments on Hughes, I'm trying to get a feeling if he will become a solid regular sooner rather than later.  Thanks.

Ok guys, I have all 3 of these guys.  Is Gordon's potential still as high as Longoria's?  Is Zimmerman's ceiling anything like the other 2 guys?  If you were trying to win in 09' who would be your guy? Not talking anything with salaries or anything like that, just who would you want?  Keep in mind that Zimmerman is 7 mo's younger than Gordon and has had 2 years better already at that age than than Gordon put up last year.  I've also heard that the new park in DC wasnt going to be an issue for hitters, meaning pretty average i guess.  Thanks for the input, if there is any.

Carlos Lee to the rangers along with Nelson Cruz and a player to be named later.  The Strangers give up Kevin Mench, Coco Cordero, Lance Nix.  How good is Nelson Cruz?????????  Can this possibly be a win for the Rangers?  I am hoping they can sign Carlos Lee.  Is Nelson Cruz the answer in Center Field the Rangers have been looking for?

john hart is out in Texas, a year after giving him a 5 year deal or something great like that, he is out.  im glad they got rid of grady fuson in a giant power struggle a few years ago.  the rangers seem to change directions every few months, when will it end.  i hate the owner, he is terrible, they have a low payroll and they are in a top 10 market.  what is the point if your a ranger player or fan? ugh.

was wondering why the yankees won the division considering they are only one game up with one to play.  i keep reading that the yankees won the division because the indians lost today.  i cant understand what one has to do with the other. im not an idiot, i dont think, but i sure feel like one.  can anyone help me out.  thanks.

speaking of milton bradley, does anyone have anymore information on his finger injury.  Obvioulsy being in texas i get nothing on him, is there any cali guys who may get daily or weekly updates on his condition.  maybe the dodgers gm is a member of this great site. if he is healthy milty can be a great player.  from the info i get the dodgers seem to more bummed about losing that money stealer, jd drew, than milton.  thanks for any help.
