Happy Easter Everyone
I just wanted to wish you all a happy Easter. The link above is about Texas Tech, Tommy Tuberville, and the team supporting the tornado relief around Dallas. After last season it is easy to find the faults in many things TT, but good-hearted things like this still give me faith.
ESPN indicated to TT that they might not televise the UT/TT game unless it was on LHN.
Chris Level tweets (is that right?) that ESPN is now trying to strong arm TTU into playing on the LHN. How long does the rest of the conference allow this type of behavior to take place? I hope Texas Tech holds firm in this.
Big 12 and Fox Sports Announce Agreement
Highlights:
- 13 yr agreement
- Minimum 40 football games on FOX controlled platforms including FX, FSN and FCS.
- Combined with current revenue streams the Conference will provide annual average per institution television revenue at the highest levels of college athletics.
- Contract provides for a significant increase in the Conference’s cable rights.
Rumor - Reginald Davis to TTU!!!
The link does not mention his commitment to Tech, but is a very good story about Mr. Davis. WARNING - DO NOT GOOGLE "Reginald Davis," apparently he shares the same name with a very sick individual. Hope we land this outstanding WR!
Weiberg Out
Hey guy, I don't know about posting this, since it is linked to another forum (free), but it does discuss that someone heard that Weiberg is not able to come to TTU. Has anyone else heard the radio broadcast they were talking about? This would be bad in my opinion if he does not come to TTU.
Lubbock Supports Craig James
This guy has to be delusional if he believes this.
Is UH winning the race to Tier 1?
I know this isn't the "official" Tier 1 classification, but it's a step. Are we making any similar steps to get to Tier 1? I think it's important to have in case this conference blows up.
Baylor gets Bennett
FTW! Baylor is beating us to the punch? What is Tubs doing? He better have someone damn good up his sleeve.
Tuberville still going "hard" after Miami?
Can someone tell me if Bruce Feldmanis a credible source? I would think that this type of a move would put him on the same page as Lane Kiffen and Fran. I would like to think he is better than that, but the last 2 years have taught me not to trust anyone when it comes to college football politics.
According to his Twitter posting this morning: "Despite some reports to the contrary am told by sources close to Tommy Tuberville that he still is going hard after the Miami vacancy."
