Kansas City-Thank You
I think the Marlins are off to the good start this season for two reasons- Leo Nunez and Ross Gload.
They both played for the Kansas City Royals last season.
Reliever Leo Nunez has pretty much secured the eight-inning setup role. I think he can close. He has a good fastball and changeup.
They obtained him for Mike Jacobs last October.
And Ross Gload, first baseman/right fielder. He joined the Marlins in Spring Training, from Kansas City for a player to be named. The left-handed hitter has already made an impact, going 3-for-5 with three RBI's.
So, I really hope these guys keep going. They are doing a great job, in my opinion. What do you think?
The Misadventures of JJ & Logan
Looks like they're bringing it back. That funny little show that all Marlin fans love. I can't wait. They are both pretty funny.
Josh even had the courage to ask when Logan was going to get married. And Logan was just like, "....I don't know." It was hilarious. And while they were playing Golf, they were trying to hit each other. I have to admit, it was pretty funny.
Have you guys seen it?
Mock Positions.
Hey guys. I created a position roster. Here it is:
1B: Jorge Cantu
2B: Emilio Bonifacio
3B: Alfredo Amezaga, Wes Helms.
SS: Hanley Ramirez
C: John Baker
CF: Cameron Maybin
LF: Brett Carroll?
RF: Cody Ross
Ok, a couple things. Trade Jeremy Hermida and Dan Uggla for prospects. I know Dan will go for some good people. Not sure about Hermida. Hopefully somebody will be deceived.
I think Brett Carroll should be converted from CF to LF. Try him out for about 10 games. If he doesn't show potential, try out some guys from the system. Possibly Mike Stanton. I haven't seen him, but I heard he was showing potential.
And I know Alfredo doesn't play 3B, but he seems very versatile. I like the idea of him playing there. I don't know why. Maybe Alfredo could play the majority of the games, and have Wes Helms fill in for him sometimes.
Post your Mock Positions. I would like to see what you have to say.
New Blogger
Um...Hi everybody. I'm new to SB Nation. And I just wanted to ask: Can somebody tell me about this blog. I love the Dolphins. The routine around here. I would really apprieciate it.
I know a couple of people. I have been looking around here as a guest but...This is my first time actually joining a blog to talk. So if someone could help me that would be great.
Thank you. Hope to meet all of you.
