Jay Bilas: The Only Cool Dookie
When asked about UMD's tournament status and GV's place in UMD history...
"Lock, and a lock before the win against Clemson. Gary WIlliams has done a magnificent job with this team, and Jordan Williams has been a major key to the Terps recent success. Is this a perfect team that has Final Four written all over it? No. But, it is a team that will win a first round game, and with a good draw, can play on the second weekend. And Vasquez has been brilliant. Slow start to the season, but a really strong finish. And, if I have a vote, his number 21 is hanging from the rafters. He has been as important a player as Maryland has had in a while, and he is more than accomplished enough to warrant his jersey retirement."
Just saying, having been at Maryland during GV's freshman and sopmore years, I'm going to get goose bumps seeing his jersey hanging next to Blake and Dixon. We don't just put anyone's number up there. Special four years

Pretty good read. Need more people, especially ones whose opinions matter, to start thinking this way.

Nice to See...
Just would like to point out that Cal is getting torched by Syracuse. I am by no means an Orange fan. But it is nice to see Cal go down like this, given their pre-season hype...especially after the way that their year ended last year ;)
Point #1: The "Experts" know nothing until the teams that are actually good start winning and then they jump on the bandwagon
Point #2: Preseason polls mean nothing
