Metrolink adding the Angels Express train!
Moving to downtown LA last year, I had found it increasingly difficult to get to the stadium on weeknights, now metro has made it easy!!!

Mariner's Sign Kotchman, Avoid Arbitration
In yet another, "we want to try to duplicate the Angels....by ACTUALLY duplicating the Angels of 3 years ago" move by the Mariners....
I always liked Kotch, hopefully he finds a full time home
Nationals Targeting Lackey
According to mlbtraderumors.com ....They want him to mentor their young guns...could be the wild card in the Lackey sweepstakes
Chone Figgins to....The White Sox?
I really enjoy checking Ben Maller's rumors over on MSN Fox Sports (Ben Maller), he's generally got good information.
I absolutely have a disdain for the White Sox, ever since '05 and the way that the umps robbed that series from us. It would suck to see Figgy in a White Sox jersey....anyway, so Ben Maller posted THIS article from the Chicago Sun Times.
I wonder how high the Angels are willing to bid to keep Figgy as our lead-off man for the next 3-5 years? Is it possible we lose Figgy and Lackey this off-season?
Finally...A Little Respect From The Kruk Man
As all of you are aware, the boys over at ESPN tend not to pay much attention to our beloved Halos, as they are probably always asleep before the Angels complete a game, but John Kruk has finally written an article for the Baseball Tonight Clubhouse over on ESPN.com. I'm rather new to Halos Heaven, so I apologize if I'm breaking any rules by linking/posting about an article written by someone else, just thought it was nice our boys' bats are finally being recognized. Kendry, Juan and Bobby should definitely be talked about in the media more than they are and my boy Howie's bat is finally starting to heat up again. Hope it keeps up and can't wait to see what our boys in red do next! Let's get them Sox tonight!
Here's just a preview of what ol' Kruky said:
Bobby Abreu has definitely been one of the keys to this team. Just look at what he's been able to accomplish when it appeared no one wanted him this offseason. The 35-year-old is batting .380 since July 1, and his 22 steals are good enough for 11th in the majors -- impressive when you consider no one in the top 10 is older than 31.
Kendry Morales has been phenomenal, also, going hitless only four times in his past 40 games. He belted two three-run homers against the Twins on Sunday. He leads the team with 23 homers, a total very few could have seen coming. Together, Abreu and Morales have kept the depleted Angels' offense clicking.
