I was born in the year of our Lord eighteen hundred and thirty-two. I'm a gentleman of the suburbs to be sure. I like cravats, a brandy, my cane, and a lovely stroll through the park with Miss Francine Beaucul. Despite my fine cuff links and top hat, I am constantly stared at as I prance down the lanes of Overland Park, KS. I love my wine, my wife, and my Chiefs. Not necessarily in that order.

Drafttek predicts Chiefs select...a Thorman brother in the 6th?

1

It SAYS Michael Sam, but that's not Michael Sam. Kind of looks like a Thorman brother to me.

Joe Mays destroying Matt Schaub

Here's a sweet gif of Joe Mays (as a Bronco) destroying Matt Schaub. He then joined Schaub with the Texans, and now with Schaub headed to OAK and Mays in KC, Joe gets to do it all over again!

Emmanuel Sanders headed for a visit to KC

I'd like to see Sanders in Red and Gold. I think he'd be an upgrade on Avery and definitely on DMC at the WR position.

Alex Smith hates the Raiders so much, he married one

Can you even imagine the filth the Raiderettes have to listen to coming out of the Black Hole? Disgusting things, like "Raiders are #1" and "Go Raiders" - and then to have to shout those same obscenities back to the crowd. Elizabeth, I hope you've shunned the silver and black for the red and gold - permanently.

Not that down about a loss

+

So we lost. To the best offense that's existed in the past decade. By only 10 points. In their stadium. The Chiefs weren't a team that would go undefeated, and this was the absolute most likely loss after we beat Tennessee. Now we get to go practice for our next showdown with the Broncos by going up against Rivers - another good passing quarterback - and then the Broncos come to us. We kept that game a lot closer than Donkeys fans thought it would be, and dammit Manning gets that ball out of his hand fast. If we can win the next two weeks, we'll be going into the last quarter of a season with our destiny in our own hands.

The Gentry, a not-too-disappointed-fan-today

Last undefeated team!

1

SWEEEEEEEET! Way to go Colts!

Yep

The NFC Least

2

The Chiefs now have as many wins as the entire NFC East combined (4-12). Why? Because of the AFC West. The NFC East is now 1-7 against the AFC West. When is the last time the NFC East was the worst division in the NFL? I predict that the media begins saying that the AFC West is overrated, because we've beat up on (their beloved) NFC East teams that stink this year. I also predict that the NFC East teams start to bounce back now that 12 of their 16 games against the AFC West teams are behind them.

Depends ads are weirding me out

Why are Wes Welker and Snoop Dogg in Depends ads all over the site? I'm not going to take the time to watch their commercials or click on them - I'm just really weirded out by it.

Total Chaos

This is purely a musing. I don't think this would happen, but I'm getting bored thinking about drafting an OT, so my mind began wandering. Here's the premise: What if the Chiefs just flat out...

A Request for John Dorsey & Andy Reid

Rolando McClain arrested again

+

What a dumbass. He just got cut by the lowly Raiders and picked up again, and he has to know he's on a short leash. "Police officers had ordered McClain and several other people to leave the park after a large crowd had gathered there. McClain allegedly refused to do so, and began cursing at the officers. Authorities said McClain was eventually handcuffed and taken to the city jail before bonding out a short time later."

The Return of Ryan Lilja?

19

I've never had inside information before, but today I do. It's weird - and it was from out of the blue today - but I have it on good authority that Ryan Lilja is negotiating with the Chiefs to return for the 2013 season. That isn't to say that he would make the cut for the active roster after training camp, but I'd say he's got a damn good shot at that. What would you think to have Lilja back in the fold?

I ain't saying, cause if I do someone's gonna get mad

OAK acquires Matt Flynn

OAK has traded 2 picks to Seattle for Matt Flynn, will sign papers on it this AM & now trying to finalize Carson Palmer to AZ for late pick

Trading with the Raiders?

+

As quarterback quandaries play out around the NFL, the Kansas City Chiefs hope that one leads to enough desperation for a team to trade up for their No. 1 overall pick. Could one such bidder be the Oakland Raiders, owners of the No. 3 pick, where quarterback Carson Palmer appears willing to force himself out of the franchise? "I certainly hope so," one Chiefs source said Thursday when asked about Palmer and whether his uncertain future could force the Raiders to deal.

Eagles didn't want to trade Nick Foles

4

Andy Reid reiterates that Eagles never wanted to trade Nick Foles, so conversations ended there.

Oh good. And now we're tampering.

5

According to former teammate Vontae Davis, free agent Sean Smith is "talking" to the Chiefs. "I seen my dude Sean Smith last night he said (he's) talking to KC him & (Brandon) Flowers will make a good duo," was Davis' specific tweet. That, of course, is tampering, but such talks are rarely policed this time of year. The Chiefs had a big hole opposite Flowers after letting Brandon Carr walk last season, and have relatively few high picks in this year's draft. That could mean they'll be looking to fill some needs via free agency. According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Smith is "maybe the most coveted" corner on the market. -Per Rotoworld

There is still time to back out!

1

Andy, this is a TERRIBLE deal. You are getting robbed - but the silver lining is that you can still say no before March 12th. That's all you have to do. Say, "I've thought about it, and after I came down from my paint huffing bender, I realized what a stupid deal I'd cut. I'm out." That's it. Problem solved. I fear you're too proud to realize your mistake, but don't be. We'll love you for saying "I was confused and sweaty and just said yes so I could get to the bathroom." T-minus 13 days and counting, Reid.

Me.

Chiefs Interested in Trading Up into 1st for Nassib?

10

We hear three teams who select at the top of round two, including the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles and New York Jets, think highly of Nassib. Its not out of the question one of these teams moves back into the late part of round one to select the Syracuse product.

Forget Tebowing. Let's start Te'oing!

Better to be a Chiefs fan than a Browns fan

+

The Browns have reportedly been in contact with impending free agent Derek Anderson about re-joining Rob Chudzinski in Cleveland. If so, it would be a violation of the league's tampering rules because free agency hasn't begun. Anderson hinted on his Facebook page that a deal was already in the works to return to Cleveland as a backup QB. "Looks like it is time to make a return to a familiar place for some unfinished business," said Anderson. "I'd be honored to return to Cleveland to play football if the fans would have me."
