Nellie on KNBR
Hopefully he will do what he said today.
He said that our bigger lineup is our better team. So I'm going to try it more and play Turiaf more at pf.
He talked about how Jackson needs to change his game a little and hopefully last games show that and also that he needs to change his own style some this year.
But he also said the AR just isnt good enough and not ready yet to play much. He needs to practice more and he wishes he would practice harder but that he is a great kid. So looks like he may be playing much soon.
Also talked about Crawford being soft and Hendrix being cut sadly sometimes has to do more than just how you play. Basically think because of financial reasons with him being a 2nd rounder and Marcus having a 1.4 million contract.

Mullin's Right Hand Man Fired.
Looks Like Rowell has struck again. Flexing his power and showing who is in charge now.
Marcus Thompson of the CC times has just posted this.
http://www.ibabuzz.com/warriors/2008/11/06/mullins-right-hand-man-fired/
I like Marcus's one theory on this:
1. Mullin is on notice: Cutting D’Alessandro could be a way of showing Mullin that challenging the authority of Rowell is a bad move with consequences. You know, like in the mob movies when you go after someone close to your enemy to send a message.
Tim Kawakami has just posted on this also. http://blogs.mercurynews.com/kawakami/
I like this comment of his:
This. Is. Rowell. The Purge. And he’s out of control. Every single Warriors employee had better duck.

Will Monta ask to be given release?
On Knbr they have had TIm K on and now Ray Ratto. I know two sources sometime can be questioned.
But First Tim brought up that Monta already told the Warriors a few weeks ago, if your thinking about voiding my contract still. Just go ahead an do it now. Supposely Tim thinks Rowell may have told Monta they hold the right to void his contract at any time during the contract if they feel he isnt up to par.
No player can play withthat hanging over them, hopefully that is being blown out of control.
Now talking to Ratto. Who I have never liked. He is talking about how Monta may tell the Warriors he has fed up with them showing him up and he may never play a game again for the Warriors.
Hopefully they are just trying to drive up their own ratings.

What warrior is loved in Europe?
NBA.com released the top ten sales in NBA jerseys in Europe.
No surprise is Kobe Bryant and Kevin Garnett at number 2. But coming in as a shock to me. Marco cracked the top 10 at #9. Even though he is from Italy. Still surprises me he can beat out many star NBA players in sales.
1. Kobe Bryant, Los Angeles Lakers
2. Kevin Garnett, Boston Celtics
3. Pau Gasol, Los Angeles Lakers
4. LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers
5. Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs
6. Allen Iverson, Denver Nuggets
7. Andrea Bargnani, Toronto Raptors
8. Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat
9. Marco Belinelli, Golden State Warriors
10. Jose Calderon, Toronto Raptors
Here is the article.

Photos - Done with a new twist
I had posted before some pics I took in Detroit while on vacation. And was told I should post some of my A's pics. I go to a lot of A's games and chose these from the breast cancer awareness game. Many people have posted different pics from A's games. So I tried to make it a little different, showing pics in succession on a play.
If anyone was interested this was the Tigers-Twins game I was talking about: http://www.blessyouboys.com/2008/9/13/613440/pictures-from-game-earlier and http://www.twinkietown.com/2008/9/13/613442/pictures-twins-on-the-road
If this post is liked, I have another idea which I can post. It will be called cause and affect. So feel free to give any feedback you want.
Warning: very long post
1st pitch of the game
Rajai Davis
Willy Mays Hayes Impression
What goes up, must come down.
Cust on his way to the A.L. record.
Our old friend Milton, before getting tossed.
Outman on his way to winning his first major league start.
Stolen Base.

Someone read the scouting report.
But didn't stick to it and Crosby doubles.

Cust goes deep.
Doing it wrong.
Still Wrong.
Now very wrong.

OKC Finds who next to steal from..
First OKC went and stole Seattle's Team.
Then they go and make Thunder there name. When it's already the Warriors theme and Mascots name.
Now This:
These look like cheap Knicks knockoffs, that you would buy off the street. You know they look like they should be Knicks jerseys but just not quite right.

I could be off. From an outside perspective. But first thing I thought were your guys jerseys. What do you think?

1st Day of Practice Done
The Warriors wrapped up their first day of practice. Over at the warriors website, you can check some interviews from the team.
http://www.nba.com/warriors/index_main.html
Watching Don Nelson interview, makes you wonder. Does he just hate doing these interviews at the start of camp or does he just not want to be there. He is just distance and not caring about the interview for most of it. He does seem to get excited though when talking about Morrow. Talking about how it just makes you wonder how someone so good can go un-drafted. Not only may he be the best shooter on our team but would be on a lot of teams and he is just glad he is here.
So after the first day of practice, what is everyone opionin in the state of the Warriors? How long do you think Nellie will sick it out?

Stewart blames Jose for '90 WS loss.
Did anyone see the interview stew did with CBS 5 Gameday. He blamed Canseco for the 1990 world series loss. He said one player did not want to be there. He questioned if he was being payed off by a bookie to lose because his play and attitude were so bad. He said it is hard for one player to be blamed for a loss. But when one of your best players doesn't care or want to be there, it's very hard.
Found this interview kind of surprising and shocking. Wonder why so many years later this is the first we have heard any mention of anything like this? (at least that I have really heard) It seemed like stored up frustration and very hurt over it.
He mentioned just good things about McGwire on the other hand.
He also said good things about the current team. He thinks they will be very good, very soon.
