Born and raised a (dare I say) Yankees fan. Defected from the Yankees when the Devil Rays were bringing up the rear, mostly due to the spoiled nature of the fans who I could not relate with. The other reason being how few opportunities there are to get in on a team from the beginning. It was easy being a Yankees fan, so I decided to be a part of a franchise that was still on the ground. Another thing that bugged me about the freakin' Yankees, bandwagon jumpers everywhere.
I still have a McGriff jersey. The old rainbow logo type. I also have a teal one with Piniella on the back because for awhile, he was the show. I wear Longoria now... I love the new uniforms.
