As most of you already know, today is the day that Bryan A. (or whatever he calls himself these days) begins growing out his mustache in honor of Movember. I won't get into all the statistics and specifics because I think (and I could be wrong) that people unfortunately tend to skip over these things. The basics of it are that he's supporting a cause to promote men's health. Most of us are men here, but that's besides the point.

We're all here because we support Tottenham Hotspur. We're all here because we want to discuss our favorite club within a tight-knit community of people who feel the same sense of joy when our boys step out onto the pitch donned in lilywhite. Some of us have been fans longer than others, and thus have a more extensive knowledge of our club's rich history. No matter how long you've been supporting Tottenham, though, you are surely familiar with our motto.

To Dare Is To Do. Audere est Facere.

Those few words are the ideology behind everything the club does. We are a football club based on action. We stare into the eyes of the greatest of challenges and take two steps forward. We are not built to back down. We are not built to sit idly by and let others do what we ourselves can do.

Bryan-With-a-Y took two steps forward today. He realizes that curing prostate cancer, and improving men's health in general, are daunting challenges. Challenges that will not be overcome by the actions of just one person, but instead by the collective action of many people. We can be those people. You can be that person.

I feel strongly about what Bryan (pronounce "yan" like Mechanick pronounces "Jan") decided to do, and I'm going to ask you strongly to step up and help him, because that's just usually how I come off. In response to his actions, I'm going to pledge to donate $0.50 for every $1.00 donated to his cause up until kickoff of Tottenham's match with Manchester City. I urge you to donate whatever you can. I don't care how small or large it is. Donate something. Let's live up to the same motto that we ask our club to live up to every day. Let's step forward and join Moustache-Bryan. To Donate Click Here!
