I've been a Stars fan for 30 years. I've lived in Canada all my life, so you may ask "Why do you cheer for the Stars [Minnesota and Dallas] when you live in Canada?"

Well, the answer is, when I was six years old I decided I wanted my very own NHL team. I didn't know who to cheer for - everyone in my family [where ice hockey was a religion] cheered for Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver or Edmonton. I didn't know a thing about hockey, so I took my old O-Pee-Chee sticker album, cut out all 21 teams out of the back, and resolved whichever team emblem I draw out of this hat will be my team for life. The team I selected - the Minnesota North Stars (the old N-Star emblem with the green circle around it) and the rest shall we say, is history... (for me anyways...)
