Living in pain with ridiculous complications from hypermobility syndrome has left me stuck at home for nearly 6 years now. I only started posting on line with regularity a few years back as a means of avoiding pain/depression and trying to regain control of my brain. I am insane, now. You can't live through what I have without some serious issues, but I'm trying. Maybe my love of sports will keep me going through the tough times.

Note: I have Murphy blood in my veins, something my mother joked about once when I was really young over some random thing that went wrong. "Well, Murphy's Law, and we've got Murphy blood," she said. Thanks, mom. That damn thought became a mantra by the time I hit puberty, and is so ingrained in my thinking processes I still blame my blood for everything.
