Fantasy Football Talk Anyone?

I dont know about you all but I have "The Itch" for some fantasy football already and it is not even June, damn it is going to be a long summer. I just love Sundays when I can sit back, put on the NFL Redzone Channel, and watch when the players on my fantasy teams tear it up like a fat guy (myself included) at a buffet! I usually get into atleast 2 or 3 leagues every season... So anyways, I have been thinking about the upcoming season and had a couple questions, or ideas I guess, that I wanted to throw out to yall and see what you think.

In one of my leagues last year I was lucky enough to get Aaron Rodgers in the 2nd round and he basically won me the league, dudes the man. My other league I had Romo as my QB and he ended up getting hurt for the season. I picked up Shaun Hill to replace him, and to be honest I was VERY SURPRISED at the points he got me, which is what lead me to this question. If Hill do so well fantasy wise last year, imagine what a 100% healthy Matt Stafford will do? I am really debating just loading up on my RB's and WR's for like the first 6 or 7 rounds and then drafting Stafford as my QB. The dude has the makings this year to be atleast a top 7 QB, if not a top 5 and that would be a huge steal. Whats your thoughts? Apparently NFL.COM has similar thoughts as I do.

The other question is about Arian Foster. I did my homework last year watching him during the preseason and was able to draft him in the 5th round in both of my leagues. I think yall know how that paid off... but can he do it again this year. I just feel that a healthy Ben Tate is way to talented to keep on the bench and will be competing with Foster for touches, which would really be a kick in the dick. As of now I think I will be staying away from Foster if I am drafting in the top, maybe leaning towards A.P. or Jamaal Charles! Thoughts?

Thanks guys, and I apologize if I got you all geeked up like I am. I have been drinking FFL Koolaid since the draft ended. Takes my mind off this Lockout. Lets just hope this damn CBA gets settled and we can actually have a season next year!

Would have been a good story for Detroit... I dont understand why none of the 32 teams in the NFL thought he couldnt play. Even if he didnt play for us and we drafted him, his leadership alone for our younger players was enough to give him a roster spot on the Lions...

IMO Felton has never been very productive here in Detroit, and releasing him will just free up some Salary Space for our FA signings this year. Being a FullBack in the NFL means that you are a lead blocker first, then a ball carrier. I think that half of our struggles on 3rd and 1 have been due to him not being able to push the pile, while the other half was that we just havent had a big and powerful back.

This young Henry Hynowski kid is UDFA. I have seen several of you comment about this guy before the draft so lets take a look at him now:

Scouting report: Henry Hynoski, Pittsburgh

NFL position: FB

Height: 6-0 3/8

Weight: 257

40 time: 4.82

Current projection: Fifth-round pick

Strengths: Has a wide build with above-average arm length for a fullback, and his athleticism makes him an efficient lead blocker in the run game. Can locate and sustain lead blocks on the move and is a sound performer in pass protection. Should offer good value on special teams.

Weaknesses: Has average speed for the position at best and lacks the quickness and elusiveness to gain yards after contact. Does not possess good run skills or production.

Bottom line: Hynoski was a two-year starter at fullback for Pitt. He'll fit best in a traditional West Coast offense, as he is capable of serving as a lead blocker, pass protector and underneath receiver in the backfield. His lack of speed will hinder him as a legitimate fullback in the NFL, however. Still, he has draft value because of his ability to play on special teams. Even as a rookie, he'll compete for playing time.

The dude is a brick wall and very athletic. He is young and seems to understand his role as a FB. I bet he wont complain about playing time with us. I hope we dont resign Felton and sign this young kid off of UDFA. With him lead blocking for Leshoure, we stand a great chance and converting them pesky 3rd and 1's. What do you all think?
