Mizzou's Henry Josey out for season (ESPN)

COLUMBIA, Mo. -- Missouri tailback Henry Josey will not play this year after injuring his left knee in November against Texas. Tigers coach Gary Pinkel says Josey is expected to make a full recovery. He says he saw Josey running during practice Sunday. Josey tore his ACL, MCL and patellar tendon against the Longhorns, requiring two surgeries -- one following the injury and another in the spring. He led the Tigers with 1,168 yards rushing in 10 games last year, with quarterback James Franklin finishing second with 981 yards. Kendial Lawrence will start at tailback in Saturday's opener against Southeastern Louisiana. He also began the 2011 season atop the depth chart, before breaking his left leg in practice prior to the team's second game. Pinkel made the announcement about Josey on Monday.

EA Sports confirms MU's new uniforms will eventually be in NCAA Football '13

Well looks like EA got the memo, and will be creating a patch that will include Mizzou's new duds as well as several other teams with who are going to be wearing new uniforms. More importantly, the patch will be absolutely free!!!! Even though the new field design will not be included in the update, I think I might actually have to go out and buy this game now. Does Missouri Possess The Best Transfer Class in History?

Missouri left the Big 12 with a bang. In their final season in the league, the Tigers won 30 games, earned a two-seed in the NCAA tournament, and won the Big 12 conference tournament title. But with five players graduating from a seven-player rotation, 2012-13 seemed like it would be a rebuilding year. Yet that was not Frank Haith’s plan. Thanks to the return of an injured Laurence Bowers (arguably Missouri’s best player in 2010-11), and the addition of four key transfers Oregon’s Jabari Brown, Auburn’s Earnest Ross, Pepperdine’s Keion Bell, and Connecticut’s Alex Oriakhi, Missouri has a chance to compete for the SEC title in its first year in the league.

This Week In Schadenfreude: Excuse Nebraska While They Have A Seizure

"Cornhusker fans have a SEIZURE on the FRIGGING ground, the Bearcat gets arrested, Arizona fans deploy more stars than letters after losing on an OT missed extra point, and UCLA fans want everyone fired, including me and you and everyone else who's ever even thought about Bruin football."

SI's Preseason Crystal Ball for 2010-11

Nice to see someone else really likes Mizzou's team. Andy Glockner is drinking the Mizzou basketball kool-aid.

ESPN's Pat Forde talking expansion, 4 team pods?!

Pat Forde regarding Mizzou and the Nubs, "I've been hearing real strong talk that they have been offered, or will be offered in the near future." Still, more of the same, but Pat always offers a pretty reliable view. Plus, he's been around football long enough, probably has some good sources.

Freak out maximized

Is there any chance anyone else would be willing to throw in some money to keep CMA? If he leaves, Mizzou basketball could regress further than post-Quin basketball. If everyone puts up $40, we only need like 32,000 and change people. Hell, raise my tuition that much. Any other takers

Newest ESPN Bracketology

I would take this draw in a heartbeat Especially since Purdue lost their best player. Mizzou Inevitable Path to Destiny(TM) looks like Clemson, Purdue, Temple, KANSAS ST, Syracuse, KANSAS. Imagine if Mizzou was playing KSU in the Elite Eight, and Kansas in the championship

…in the Yahoo! User Fan Rankings. Up 38 spots from previous weeks. I feel like this is a personal victory, even if it means nothing at all

Frank Martin Tells It Like It Is

Nice article from the Missourian, with some quotes from the press interview, especially one from Frank Martin concerning national perception of Mizzou basketball
