Ziggy's streak

Ok so he's at 20+ innings and counting. As you know a new Oakland record. He has a solid if not specacular .73 whip. Athletics Nation Blog Karma started it all.  Other AAA players are fighting for the limited chance to Blog for AN and get there careeers started off right.

what's the record for MLB to start a career? what's the Oakland record for total innings for anyone not just to start a career?

If he goes all year without a ERA does that give him the Rookie of the year automatic? Or because he's not a starter or closer he gets ignored? At what point does this guy get recongnized in the national media? 30 innings? 40?

4 out of 11 best pitchers AL ERA and texas sucks

1. Dush-1.91 for a comanding lead. a huge .43 lead over the next non A's pitcher, C.Lee from Clevland . Oh, he's also First in the Majors with a .17 lead over  Cin's E.Volquez. And both used to be Texas Rangers who are a well deserved last in AL TEAM ERA.

2. Having the pitcher with the Best ERA in baseball really is impressive enough. BUT....we also have the second best AL ERA with HARDEN's 2.15. I know he's 15 innings away from being officially on that list but tell that to any team who has to face us. Im pretty sure texas messed up one year by not drafting Harden when they could have. because they suck.

3. then there's a pair of outstanding young unknown leflty's in 9th Evland and 11th Smith respectavly.

note;(do you know how many teams have NEVER said that? ) another note: (how did Billy know to get Evland? have you seen Evlands stats in his 40+ games in the majors the last four years? a horrible 8+ ERA. ) Of course texas could have traded for them last year but they didnt' so again they suck.

The reason there ERA's are so low? the Top Three of Dush, Evland and Harden don't just give up very few home runs, they give up by far the fewest . with Evland giving up the least HR's in the major leagues with 3 and Dush tied for second with 4 and Harden's tied for fourth in all the majors with only  5 giving up. Some one needs to look that stat up over the last hundread years and see if any team ever did something like that before. IMPRESSIVE.
