Born in the Green Mountains, raised next door in the White Mountains, dragged down south and wound up liking it before getting lost in various deserts for a number of years (the food is great, the views spectacular, but nary any ice or snow to be found).

Have now been in greater Potomacland long enough I have accepted I am a Caps loving homer, much to the chagrin of my Habitants and Bruins fan relatives.

I have no interest in the bloated, boring and overpaid NBA (ain't what it used to be), pro golf, and am the only person who grew up in New England who can't stand the Patriots. The Red Sox aren't the same ever since they won in 2004, but fortunately for me I have a new lost cause in the Montreal Expos..err...Nationals. Due to geography, I spent more time at MTL games in my youth than visiting Fenway.
