Solomon Alabi Tested Positive for Hep-B, Explains Draft Slip
I'm not sure if this is a fact that was known around TN, but I'm posting this just in case it isn't. The good news of it all is that the doctors say it won't inhibit his future as an NBA player.
FSU: The Most Overrated College Football Team in 20 Years
This was borderline hilarious to read, if only due to the ridiculous nature of the flat statistics that the blog writer uses.
Urban Meyer Rips Into Orlando Sentinel's Jeremy Fowler
"If that were my son, we'd be be going at it right now," Meyer said to Fowler in response to Fowler's fairly benign article about WR Deonte Thompson's earlier comments regarding QB John Brantley and former QB Tim Tebow.
At this rate, Urban's going to need another leave of absence by mid-April.
ESPN is getting overzealous with the attention towards UF
John Brantley's father reportedly has prostate cancer. I wish the best for him, and he and his family deserve our prayers (or well-wishes if prayer isn't your thing).
However, how is this front-page material for ESPN's CFB section? How many college athletes are there, and how many of them are going through some kind of hardship, either directly or through family or close relationships? To me, the love affair with UF just seems to be getting out of control. If this sentiment is inappropriate, please let me know.
"You'd Better Have Some Crud In You"

Senior Bowl Day 3
Todd McShay describes Myron Rolle's progression during the practices leading up to the Senior Bowl. It sounds to me like this is another perfect example of our inability to develop players over the last few years, as McShay goes so far to describe Rolle as "looking better than he ever has on film." However, in the overall scheme of things, it's nice to see Rolle representing himself and FSU in a good light.
It is also funny to hear McShay struggle to find a positive spin on Tebow's lateral improvements over the week.
