Here's a great read on new Eagles Defensive Coordinator Billy Davis' defensive scheme. 4-3? 3-4? No, it's called the 4-3 Under.
Some pretty condemning stuff. Blames the faults on the defense on Castillo's lack of adjustments.
h/t Jimmy. And yes, you read that right, one KR and one PR that are not the same person.
PFT reports that Eagles are holding off on bringing in Jeremy Shockey.
Matt Williamson gives out his off-season report card, and the Eagles are on the top of the list with the Rams and the 49'ers. Insider article, so I'll help out a bit: Eagles get an A, Redskins get a B+, Cowboys get a B, and Giants get a C+.
Has apparel for every single player in the NFL (yes, even Dorenbos). They'll even sell off autographed memorabilia. Apparently, 70% of proceeds go towards the players.
He's an Eagle. RT @Eagles_Tarheels can u please find out some info on weather Phillip Thomas is a eagle or a redskin. Thanks.
Per Jeff McLane and confirmed by Howie Roseman. Not sure what the mix-up there was about. Not only does Jimmy get a section in the Mailbag for BEast, but his name gets mentioned too. Movin' on up! What's next, anchor?
So to recap correctly, LaRon Landry has agreed to a contract with the NY Jets and the Pats have agreed with offensive lineman Robert Gallery

This week's Philadelphia Eagles splash page video. Pretty good.
This is an Insider article, but I'll sum it up if you don't have that membership: The Rams simply just need to not let the Eagles make any big plays and they will win the game. Quintin Mikell was an Eagle, so he knows all of the plays and will have a "chip on his shoulder". Vick is a player who takes way too many risks and needs to control himself or else he will throw the game. The Rams have a, and I quote, "wealth of options" at the WR position, so avoiding Nnamdi should be easy as cake. The Play Action will kill our defense because Steven Jackson will be able to run it up the middle all game, since our defense is "too small". It just seems that people are just trying to think of ways the Eagles will lose this one. It's getting sickening.
Eagles on the list include: #16 - Nnamdi Asomugha (2nd CB overall behind Revis, who is at #3) #26 - Trent Cole #55 - Jason Peters #74 - DeSean Jackson #90 - Michael Vick (What?) #96 - Cullen Jenkins Three other Eagles (McCoy, Samuel and Babin) are in the #101-#200 section.
Nnamdi as an Eagle on the front cover of Sports Illustrated
An excerpt from Asante Samuel's interview. Says that he wants to be a on a team "where he feels wanted. Whether that is the Eagles or not, he is not sure."
Looks like Graziano is checking us out a lot. This time, it's our Vick/Jackson Madden article. Pretty cool shout-out, if you like those kinds of things.
Uh...what? Anyone else even close to considering this?
The world of Fantasy Football got a whole lot more legal. Let the buyer beware next time you do your fantasy draft. Just remember to compensate your players, and REMEMBER THE ALAMO!
Jeffrey Lurie and the Eagles make it to #11 on the list, being cited as "no-frils leadership that has led to prosperity." In related news, the other NFC East teams ranked ahead of the Eagles, and Jerry Jones is tied with Kraft as the #1 owner in the league. Who do you think should be #1? Is Lurie at #11 a fair rank?
Hey everyone! I was just looking around SBNation, and I came across a really neat website that details possible sack predictions for the top 2010 Defensive End and Outside Linebacker prospects that...
