Without a first rounder, I'll mainly be waiting to see if anyone falls. While signability is generally a concern for the Dodgers, I'll take whoever I feel is the BPA regardless of the price tag. Also, while the Dodgers and I usually veer more towards prep players, I'm not against taking college kids with any of the picks.

Please post any thoughts/input/questions below.

So with the draft only a few days away, I wanted to get a better idea of what people want to do with the first pick.

Some notes:

-Melville's velocity has been back up into the low to mid 90s, so I don't see him as being as much of a reach as a few weeks ago.

-Kelly has stated that he wants to play SS as a pro and probably wouldn't sign if he's taken as a RHP.

-Collier and Wallace may not be there, as the Nats are reportedly looking at Collier and the White Sox are looking at Wallace.

With no compensation picks this year, the Dodgers have 5 selections in the first 5 rounds. Here are the Dodgers' picks through the 5th round:

Round 1 - Pick 15

Round 2 - Pick 61

Round 3 - Pick 93

Round 4 - Pick 127

Round 5 - Pick 157

Over the past 6 years, Logan White has focused mainly on HS pitchers in the first round. But I'm not opposed to college players or hitters, given the right skillset. I'm just looking for the BPA. I'd like to hear some opinions on the possible directions we could go with the 15th pick.
