Now that the Sugar Bowl is over we can finally focus on the up coming season. We exceeded all expectations this year with spectacular play on both sides of the ball. This year will be better than last because, we will have a more experienced ball club all around. Our speed will also be phenomenal on offense and we will have a very dominating defense. Smith and Caldwell will be greatly missed for sure but, for what we loose we will gain in areas that will be more than comparable. Don't let the Sugar Bowl have any influence on the up coming season whatsoever. We now have an almost complete Saban team and we will be able to see the difference in play and attitude. I don't foresee any coke deals on campus or armed robberies, just a great group of kids ready to play football Bama style. The reason that we have varmints from other sights in ours is because of fear, they know deep down inside what they are in for years to come. They knew this when we hired CNS (two years) ago and now everyone else is trying to play catch up only after (two years). We all know why we lost to Utah and we aren't going to make excuses, they were the better team January 4th for whatever reasons. This Sugar Bowl will be remembered and that is true however ,once we start whipping ass it won't seem so bad.

I'll give credit to the "O" this week,

They (offense) executed well in run situations because of crisp blocks and good timing. The D was strong even with the play of the young freshmen who stepped in and made really good plays. After watching Tulane, my opinion they aren't bad at all and should have beaten E.Carolina. I will also say it felt good seeing McElroy take some snaps, looking comfortable enough to start. He didn't get rattled under pressure at all. After reflecting on the these three games I can see and smell fear from upcomming opponents that has been absent for a few years, thanks to "Nasty Nick's" ability to coach ball.

I'm looking forward to some smoked wild pig ribs next week!!!!
