My mother was born in Tuscaloosa and everyone in the family pulled for bammur. When I chose to attend Auburn, they literally cried "how can you do this to us??!!" One by one, it didn't take long to convert them from the dark side. Two decades and a combined seven Auburn degrees later, my immediate family members are all Auburn season ticket holders!

In my spare time (i.e., when Auburn isn't playing!), I enjoy following the Braves and more recently, NASCAR. I started listening to the Braves back when a fella out of Mobile was playing for them. Perhaps you've heard of Hank Aaron? As for NASCAR, there are several drivers I enjoy seeing do good, but only one I struggle with ... yep, the m&m brat is not welcome here.
