Bloody Elbow Quinton Jackson going to WWE?

This is all speculation on my part, but the pieces of the puzzle seem to fit. Let me know what you think.

This is a video interview of "Rampage" with Danny Acosta of Fight! Magazine. Notice of the obvious lack of interest.

Quinton Jackson has never liked to train, and even stated in the UFC Primetime show that he doesn't like interacting with fans. In this video, he seems to show ZERO interest in everything involving the sport of MMA. I could be diving too deep into things but let's ride this out.

A recent story has been out naming a "top UFC fighter" has sent feelers out to WWE about joining the promotion. Obviously, he couldn't join the promotion until his UFC contract is expired or he is released. Here's a link.

On June 7th, "Rampage" guest-hosted "Monday Night RAW" with the other stars of "The A-Team" film. Jackson has been pretty public about being a fan of pro wrestling and has said he intended on going into pro wrestling before he got in mixed martial arts. He posted the following tweets (from @Rampage4real) after he hosted RAW:

-"I was like a kid today,I have not been happy this past week, but meeting my child hood heros, and making new friends was all I needed I'm back."

-"Everybody was cool! They r a bunch of big kids like me,doing what they love. Big Show was so funny! He showed me the choke slam. I want n!!!"

Between Quinton's clear lack of desire to be in the MMA business, his kind words for the WWE, and these reports coming out, I think it's safe to call this a possibility for the former UFC light heavyweight champion.

Bloody Elbow Gomez vs. Gonzales headlines "TPF: Cinco de Mayhem"

This press release was sent out over a week ago but I haven't seen it on too many other sites so I figured I'd put up the info.

Tachi Palace Fights returns with their next card on May 5th. It'll be creatively called, "Cinco de Mayhem". See what they did there? TPF always puts on some good cards with quality prospects and a few names you may recognize. Here's the line-up for "Cinco de Mayhem":

-TPF Flyweight Championship: Ulysses Gomez vs. Luis Gonzales

-TPF Featherweight Championship: Isaac De Jesus vs. Casey Olson

-Vacant TPF Welterweight Championship: David Mitchell vs. Tim McKenzie

-Poppies Martinez vs. Darren Crisp

-Eddie Yagin vs. Enoch Wilson

-David Espinosa vs. Darrell Montague

-Phil Collins (no, not the lead singer of Genesis) vs. Morris Aldaco

-Russ Miura vs. Jesse Bowen

-Andrew Martinez vs. Nikk Covert

-Rumulo Melo vs. Chase Hackett

*Why should you care about these fights you ask? Ulysses Gomez is one of the hotter prospects at 125 and with WEC adding a flyweight division, he's a guy that you could see in there. Isaac De Jesus and Casey Olson are both quality featherweight prospects. De Jesus is the more serious one I'd say. He whooped up on Nam Phan in their last fight for the vacant featherweight title. Olson is a quality fighter though, he trains down at the Pit with John Hackleman and Hack speaks very highly of him. I expect De Jesus to be seeing a bigger stage relatively soon with a win here. David Mitchell will probably beat up the UFC/WEC veteran but it's an appropriate test for Mitchell. Mitchell has some momentum behind him after he beat War Machine and Affliction nut-kicker extraordinaire, Bobby Green. He's someone that could end up on a Strikeforce Challengers or Bellator in the forseeable future.
