If there were updates below the fold, I wouldn't tell you.
Draft Workouts and David Kahn Interview
Jae Crowder stated quite clearly today that he is a small forward, not a power forward, and expects to play that in the pros. That and more from today's draft workouts.
Today at the Target Center Lifetime Fitness, two sets of draft workouts were held by the Minnesota Timberwolves. The coaching staff, led by Jack Sikma and Shawn Respect, along with Nick Van Exel, worked the prospects through drills and some 3-on-3 games.
Representatives from every NBA team were in attendance, including notable names like Larry Bird, Kevin Pritchard, Danny Ainge, Masai Ujiri, Mitch Kupchak, Dwane Casey and Geoff Petrie, among others.
The first group was made up of J'Covan Brown of Texas, John Shurna of Northwestern, Miles Plumlee of Duke, Drew Gordon of New Mexico and Scoop Jardine of Syracuse. Tomas Satoransky from Spain had to cancel and was not at the workout.
The second group was made up of Casper Ware of Long Beach State, Scott Machado of Iona, Kevin Murphy of Tennessee Tech and Quincy Acy of Baylor. Jae Crowder was in attendance, but sat out the workout due to an ankle injury.

Today's updates below the fold:
Minnesota Timberwolves Buy or Sell: Anthony Tolliver (With Poll!)
On August 6th, 2010, the Minnesota Timberwolves signed forward Anthony Tolliver for a 2-year deal worth $4.8 million. He even made this clever spoof of The Decision to announce his choice of team.
Tolliver's two seasons are up and the Wolves have to make the decision of whether to re-sign Tolliver or let him become an unrestricted free agent.
The question is simple. Buy or sell: should the Minnesota Timberwolves keep Anthony Tolliver for the 2012-13 NBA season?
(more on Tolliver, and a poll, below the fold)
Western Conference Finals Open Thread: Game 2
Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Spurs are up 1-0.
The Timberwolves announced today that the team will play Maccabi Bazan Haifa, from the Israeli Basketball Super League, in a preseason game at Target Center on October 16th, 2012.

Eastern Conference Finals Open Thread: Game 1
Tonight is Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals between the #2-seeded Miami Heat and the #4-seeded Boston Celtics.
Boston has had two tough series against the Atlanta Hawks (4-2) and the Philadelphia 76ers (4-3. They are on only one day's rest from their conference semi-finals series against Philly, and Avery Bradley is gone for the remainder of the playoffs.
Miami is also banged up - Chris Bosh is still listed as inactive for tonight's game - and got to the ECF by defeating the New York Knicks (4-1) and the Indiana Pacers (4-2).
Boston won the season series 3-1. The teams played each other once in December (Miami's lone win), and three times in April.

Western Conference Finals Open Thread: Game 1
Tonight is Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals between the #1-seeded San Antonio Spurs and the #2-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder.
San Antonio has yet to lose a game in the 2012 playoffs, having swept both the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Clippers 4-0. Their last loss was Wednesday, April 11th, against the Los Angeles Lakers. They had a 50-16 record in the regular season.
Oklahoma City swept the defending champion Dallas Mavericks 4-0 and only lost one game to the Los Angeles Lakers in the conference semi-finals. They had a 47-19 record in the regular season.
The Spurs won the season series 2-1. San Antonio won March 16th in Oklahoma City, 114-105; won February 4th in San Antonio, 107-96; and lost January 8th, 96-108.
Discuss below:
The NBA has suspended Udonis Haslem for one game and Dexter Pittman for 3 games. The Pacers' Tyler Hansbrough had his foul upgraded to a flagrant-2 but was not suspended.
Brian Windhorst (@WindhorstESPN)
LeBron James, Serge Ibaka, Dwight Howard, Chris Paul and Tony Allen were named to the 2011-12 NBA All-Defensive First Team.
Yep. The NBA's Defensive Player of the Year, Tyson Chandler, did not make the First Team.
Chandler made the Second Team, along with Kobe Bryant, Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett and Luol Deng.
No Timberwolves' players received a vote.
Ricky Rubio and Derrick Williams Make NBA All-Rookie Teams
Ricky Rubio made the 2011-12 NBA All-Rookie First Team and placed second in the voting.
Kyrie Irving (Cleveland), Kenneth Faried (Denver), Klay Thompson (Golden State), Iman Shumpert (New York), Kawhi Leonard (San Antonio) and Brandon Knight (Detroit) round out the First Team.
Chandler Parsons (Houston), Isaiah Thomas (Sacramento), MarShon Brooks (New Jersey), Derrick Williams (Minnesota) and Tristan Thompson (Cleveland) were voted onto the Second Team.
Minnesota Timberwolves Buy or Sell: Michael Beasley (With Poll!)
On July 12th, 2010, the Miami Heat traded Michael Beasley to the Minnesota Timberwolves for cash and 2nd round draft picks in 2011 (Bojan Bogdanovic, who was traded to the Brooklyn Nets) and 2014.
After two seasons, the Wolves are now faced with the decision of whether to give Michael Beasley a qualifying offer of $8,172,362, or let him become a free agent.
The question is simple. Buy or sell: should the Minnesota Timberwolves keep Michael Beasley for the 2012-13 NBA season?
(want more on Beasley? A recap, and a poll, are below the fold)

The Road to Repeat: A Recap of Minnesota Lynx Media Day
As Wolves fans, we spend so much time talking about who to develop, who to sign, who to trade for and what has to change in order for the team to keep climbing towards the playoffs.
Winning changes the conversation.
At Minnesota Lynx Media Day on Monday afternoon, there were a lot of people talking about the 2012 WNBA season. it was the biggest turnout for a media day in team history and the Lynx have turned from a side attraction to a respected mainstay in the Minnesota sports landscape. Now, instead of trying to figure out how to climb the mountain, they're working on how to stay there. Given their young talent, they could be at the top for the next several seasons.
Instead of taking out the tape recorder and staying in the media scrum, I spent the day walking around and talking to people - media, front office and players - about the upcoming season. It was a fun day and there's much more below the fold.
