Cartilage Free Captain Tottenham Hotspur draw Stevenage Away for FA CUP 5th Round Proper

Tottenham draws Stevenage. We are away, but this is the perfect draw for the 5th round. Stevenage is a competitor in League One. Assuming we advance, then we will probably start to see the Chelseas, Seventhpools, and Arsenals of the world in the Quarters. Couldn't be more pleased. With this draw, we should be able to rest some of our First XI for the Premier fixture list.

Liverpool drew Brighton Hove and Albion

Chelsea drew Birmingham

COYS!!!!

Troy Nunes Is An Absolute Magician NEVER MIND- TICKETS ACCOUNTED FOR!

Hey TNIAAM world, I have TWO (count 'em, TWO) extra tickets to tomorrow's game 'gainst Loserville.

-Section 317, Row F (about 42 yardline). Great seats to see whole field, not too close, not too far.

-Can do 2 for $45 (face $35)

-I will be getting to Syracuse about 10-1030 tomorrow, and going to Chuck's to hang out before the game.  Could certainly meet people there to give tickets.  Could also meet right at dome leading up to game

-E-mail if interested.  I know this is quite the last second move, but I couldn't find any more people that were interested (lame!!!)

Just saw this on ESPN. Making it official. The cheater and quitter is entering the draft. Good luck, make millions, cheat on your NFL "IQ" test, and please get drafted by the Raiders. We don't need you.

Camden Chat Orioles tying record for facing LHP in consecutive games

Interesting tidbit from Roch's blog, http://masnsports.com/2009/07/feeling-left-out-2.html

The Orioles are about to tie the record for most consecutive games facing LHP at 9 games.  Tonight, John Danks, and Mark Buerhle tomorrow.  Teams must be scouting us!! I remember that Seattle series about a month ago where is was what, Olson Washburn and Vargas? (don't remember exact order)  I just haven't realized this current and longer streak, since I had been out of the country for a couple of weeks, returning on Sunday.

I have one solution for breaking the record.  We trade Rich Hill to Chicago, and he pitches against us on Sunday.  I am kidding, though, obviously.  Hill's ERA is atrocious, but I will take the 8-3 record we have of games he has pitched in.  I think he will improve his ERA eventually.

Another quick note, we are currently 4-3 during this "lefty streak."

But anyways, congrats to our O's, who will be tying a meaningless record!! This is BIRDLAND!

Pretty funny video from masn online. Dennis Sarfate is part of the "Fashion Police." He shows pictures of T-Bone Shelby and Juan Samuel back when they were playing. Asks both of them about the fro, Jerry curls, etc. Then asks some of the players what they think of their coaches' hairdos.

I really love Brad Bergesen's Kip voice from Napoleon Dynamite, pretty spot-on.

Sorry folks. I had this image hanging around on my computer, and I just had to put it up. This is from Spring Training '07, with DCabs warming up on the foul territoy bullpen.

I do NOT miss either of these guys one bit.

Camden Chat Norfolk 1st place, best record in International League

After David Hernandez's dominant performance last night, the Tides now hold the best record in the International League!  At 27-13, we hold a slight percentage point advantage over the MFY AAA ballclub, Scranton-Wilkes Barre.  They have won 9 out of their last 10, including a nice little 8 game win streak.  Let's hope these guys can start pushing the big league club, and competing with them (as we have now seen with Bergesen and Reimold, although Bergesen hasn't been impressive by any means).  More callups are imminent, one in which a specific catcher has been compared with the likes of Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, Gandhi, Chris Hoiles, Ramon Hernandez (joke) and even Jesus Christ.

Keep it up, cavalry!!!

Camden Chat Tides-Chiefs game Wednesday night in 'Cuse

Hailing from Central New York,  I am heading to the Syracuse Chiefs-Norfolk Tides game on Wednesday night.  Are any CC members even from this area?  If so, come out to the game.  I will be wearing a throwback Brooks Robinson jersey and a spring training "O's" hat, so feel free to say hi. Plus come on, it's a AAA version of the ever so hated rivalry O's-Nats ha!

The main goal is to get a pic or auto from Wieters.  Hopefully my O's jersey will help out.

Getting to see Wieters, Reimold, Waters (ugggggh), and company= Tideland.

Camden Chat Matt Wieters in Minor Leagues: How long?

I live near the Syracuse area.  Norfolk comes into Syracuse midweek from May 12-15th.  Being the huge Oriole fan that I am, I might try and catch a game or two, although it is during my finals week!

Big question is:  Will Matt Wieters still be with Norfolk?  If he isn't, I might not even bother going to any games.  I am going to guess he still will be with the Tides by then.  Any other thoughts?
