Why have we just gone after a free agent wing man? Danny Ferry is moving too slow. For what reason can the Cavaliers trade Z? Here are just some thoughts...

Use your MLE to bring in Paul Millsap, David Lee or Channing Frye...

----- We need a post presence to go along with Shaq. This leaves the Cavs with some sort athleticism in the post which is something that Z doesn't give them. You might not be able to get Millsap through an MLE, but you might through a sign-and-trade involving Z and a future first round draft pick. We might have to take on some of Utah's Salary Cap trash like Kosta Koufos. We don't really use our first-rounders very productively (LeBron being the shining exception). So wht not give next year's to the Jazz and get Millsap. They would drool over Z's expiring contract.

---- This move makes sense. He is probably the worst valued player on the Cavaliers at the moment. He is a center without a post presence. What good is that? He has expiring contract and we could do some damage with that. We could get Andres Nocioni. He's a tough defensive forward, but can play dirty at times. That can be controlled though, with right surroundings. Stephen Jackson is also a tough-minded defensive player that has a contract to take. He would fill the SG spot.

---- This guy hasn't gotten any noise since free agency started. Why not? He gave us some trouble in the 1st Round of the playoffs last year. He's solid defensively and is quick to the basket. He could be a great 6th man on our team. We could probably get him for like a couple million per year on a short contract.

PG Mo Williams (Daniel Gibson)

SG Delonte West (Will Bynum)

SF LeBron James (Danny Green)

PF Paul Millsap (Darnell Jackson)

C Shaquille O'Neal (Anderson Varejao)

I am comfortable with that line-up... Danny Ferry needs to get a move on or he can just move out. This upcoming season is going to be a factor whether he will be here next year. I hope he makes another move in free agency in some manner, or Lebron might not be here next season.
